Day 200

“Kimber, he’s seeing it. What he’s been doing. Cut your man some slack, yeah?” Nuke said.

I growled.

He winked.

Day 202

His eyes came to mine the moment I saw his frame clear the archway, and then... his body seemed to deflate with relief.

Shit.

And shit again because some kind of alarm went off, and then they took him away, as well as every inmate in the room, and led us all outside.

Day 210

“He’s seen the light, I think,” Khal said as I helped make Sunday dinner at the clubhouse.

I sighed, “I hope you're right.”

“He will,” at the sound of Nuke’s voice, I lifted my head.

“How can you be so sure?” I asked.

He winked, “Cause he’s seeing the damage his sister has been doing. It’s working.”

Day 235

I saw him in the room and waited for him to be brought in.

And I sat there and waited some more.

Finally, when he was brought in, he walked over to me, his face unreadable to those who didn’t know him, but I knew him.

He was feeling regret.

And I knew it when he slid a piece of paper in front of me and took a seat.

“I’m an ass. I love you.”

I sighed, then I mouthed, “I love you too.”

He smirked.

Day 294

I woke up to someone banging on the front.

And the moment I opened the door, two cops were standing there with Kacie right in the middle.

“She says she lives here.” Kacie looked at me and smirked.

I sighed, “She doesn’t live here, but she’s my man’s sister.”

Knowing Grey would want me to do this, I stepped aside so she could come in.

And in the morning... I growled at the missing items from the closet.
