I don’t think she realised that I was unfastening her skirt until it pooled around her feet. I leaned back so I could see her. “Have you had those on all day?” I growled, taking in her suspender belt and stockings.

“Maybe. They’re new. I’ve never worn them before,” she whispered breathlessly.

“Good. I think I’d have to kill anyone else who’d seen you in these.”

“I still don’t know if I’m sold on all this making out malarky. I think we should stick with a cup of tea.”

My mouth hung open in mock shock. “Well, what if I tell you that we can do this?” I cupped her pussy over her panties, my thumb finding her clit. I circled slowly, the lace sliding against my fingertips. Helen’s body bowed, her mouth seeking mine. Her kiss was desperate as she clung onto me like her legs wouldn’t hold her up anymore. I pushed against her, working my hand faster as I twisted my tongue with hers, my cock throbbing, desperate to get involved in the action.

Helen moaned into my mouth, her body locking before she came, rocking her hips against my hand, chasing every last drop of pleasure, before she almost collapsed in my arms. “So, that’s messing about, eh?” she mumbled against my lips.

“Oh, beautiful. We haven’t even got started yet.”

Helen

“You seem…” Vee stared at me. “More relaxed. Did you find some… relief?” Her eyes widened, but I refused to answer.

I tucked my wavy hair—which Vee had noticed the second I sat down at the table for lunch—behind my ear. “Can we change the subject?” I asked, hoping I wasn’t blushing. “What’s been going on with you?”

“You know, work, wife, and not much else,” she replied. “But it looks like your life is way more interesting. Spill.”

I shook my head, wishing Becks and Lizzy were here to rein her in. “Nothing to tell, honestly. I’ve just been sleeping well, that’s all.” I didn’t mention the masturbation lesson, or that Jax made me come in the kitchen before we spent the afternoon kissing on the sofa like teenagers.

I took a bite of my sandwich just as Thomas walked in with Sean, his second in command, and a couple of other guys from our office. “Glad to see you’re eating lunch,” Thomas declared on the way past. “That new man of yours is a good influence.” He winked, and I glared in his direction, my face turning beet red.

As they walked away to find somewhere to sit, Vee turned to me. “New man? What the hell, Helen.” She sounded almost angry.

“He means Jax… he popped into work the other day to bring me lunch. It’s no biggie. Thomas just got the wrong end of the stick.”

“Or you’re pulling on the stick of a younger man and keeping it from your besties.”

My eyes widened. “I have not touched hisstick,” I told her honestly.

I took another bite of my sandwich and then I heard my name. Looking up, Jax was standing there. Dressed in his blue fire station t-shirt and matching cargo pants, he wore a dark blue cap low over his eyes. He looked so sexy I had to roll my lips between my teeth to stop myself from groaning.

“Hey,” I replied, trying to sound casual but feeling Vee’s eyes burning into the side of my head.

“Can I have a quick word?”

“Yeap.” I stood from my chair and followed him to a quiet corner. He pushed his hands into his pockets as if he was trying to stop himself from touching me. “You good?” I asked.

He looked down at me, his brown eyes flaring, and then he leaned in closer so his mouth was against my ear. “You look so fucking hot. I just wanted you to know that.”

I couldn’t help the grin that spread, even though I knew Vee was probably watching us.

“Thank you. You look pretty hot yourself in that uniform.”

“It’s so hard not to touch you right now. I can’t stop wondering what you’ve got on under that outfit.”

“Stop,” I giggled, knowing my blush would be clear for the whole place to see. “Did you want me for something or just to say wholly inappropriate things to me?”

“Oh, this is nothing, beautiful. I haven’t even let my dirty mouth loose yet.”

I nibbled on my bottom lip, my nipples hardening as I thought he’d been pretty dirty with his words already and I’d loved every one of them.

“I did actually want to ask you something.”

“Right.”
