“Let me ask Theo and I’ll let you know what he says,” I said, cupping his face and bringing him in for a kiss.

“Thank you,” he said, relaxing into me.

“Anytime, Peaches,” I said, kissing his forehead. “Now let’s get this finished, that way I can go ask Theo.”

Webber gave me a brilliant smile that made my chest somersault with happiness. I hoped this wasn’t a mistake and if it was, I’m sure Jude and I could distract him.

The roar of the arena was insane. Jude and Webber were standing and yelling along with everyone else. I tried not to feel out of place, but I was not used to being surrounded by so many people. Give me a rodeo any day, but an arena this size was a whole different story.

“Come on, Ro!” Webber yelled, hitting the glass.

“Hit him!” Jude screamed.

One of the guys in black hit a guy in blue and the hit was brutal. Webber and Jude hit the glass yelling some more.

“Get em’, Cap!” Webber yelled some more.

We were in the third quarter or was it, period? It was the last chance the Yeti’s had to score to win the game. While I didn’t understand most of the game, the excitement in the air made up for it, especially when I saw Webber and Jude yelling and hitting the glass.

I could see pieces of their friendship healing before me, and it made me happy that we had been able to come with Webber. He was right, he needed this and seeinghim this excited was also a turn on. It also gave me time to imagine him in all that hockey gear, and I was half hard mostof the game.

Two players slammed against each other right in front of us. Jude and Webber hit the glass as did the few others by us. Webber grabbed my hand, making me join in.

“Get him, Riggs!” Webber shouted.

The guy in blue hit Riggs in the helmet, knocking his head back when the whistle blew. A player came up to the offender and pushed him, saying something I couldn’t hear before he hit him. The refs came towards pulling them apart.

“Damn, Gomez protecting his man,” Jude said, looking at the two men dreamily a little flushed.

“His man?” I asked Webber as we sat down.

“Yeah. Gomez and Riggs are together, along with the social media manager of the team,” he said over the noise.

I raised my brows.

“They are so cute together.” Jude leaned over Webber. “It was quite scandalous, Romeo and Hunter hated each other at first, but Sam and I called it. All that tension, they had to be fucking.”

I chuckled. “That thin line between love and hate.”

“I’d pay to see them fucking,” Jude said, before leaning back.

I growled, catching him smirking as heleaned back into his seat.

“They are hot, I’d be down to watch too,” Webber said, as he watched the game.

I glared at them wondering what game they were playing. I wasn’t the jealous type, but just thinking about them watching someone else had me wanting to drag them back to the hotel and remind them who they came with.

The Yetis’ captain scored shortly after that. The arena went crazy and they kept their lead in the last minute of the game. After the game ended, they all went up to the goalie and bumped their heads. A few players came up to Webber and said hello, even the two players I wasn’t very fond of anymore, said hello. Apparently, we were goingout for a drink with them. I was not ready for it, I would much rather be in our hotel as I doled out spankings and fucking both of them.

As we made our way up to the exit, a few fans recognized Webber, askingfor autographs and pictures. A few kids were excited, making a really big deal, asking about his leg if he’d ever play again. I expected him to shut down, but he was great with them. A few people still had his jersey on, asking for his autograph. Each time we were stopped, his smile grew wider and wider.

“I think he’s goingto miss this the most,” Jude said, as we stood off to the side as a few women fawned over him.

“The women?” I scowled.

“No,” Jude laughed. “Meeting fans, especially the kids. Webber loves kids.”

“Oh,” I chuckled. ‘He’s great with the kids.”
