I raise a knee and run a hand along my thigh, opening my legs. Offering him my body the way he’s offering his.

Keldarion gives a deep groan and works faster at the laces of his pants, sliding them down his thick thighs and stepping out of his boots into the snow.

The snow that doesn’t seem to trouble him at all. And why would it?

He is the High Prince of Winter, standing before me in all his glory, backed by the northern stars and high mountains. This is his realm, and our love, our love, will give him the power to protect it. The thought fills me with an elated courage, a spark, an effervescence. “I’ve been waiting for you for so long.”

“I’ve been waiting for you longer,” Keldarion replies.

The High Prince of Winter kneels, stroking his long, thick cock. Then he gestures for me to lie back.

I do.

He kicks my legs apart with his knee and hovers above me. Our breath mingles, and he’s so close I can hear his heart beating.Thump, thump, thump.

The moon hangs over us, trembling like a silver mirror in the sky. It casts a cool glow over the pale curve of his lips, the hard line of his jaw.

With a firm hand, he lifts my hips. I rise to meet him, arching my body as I feel him position himself at my entrance. His frost-blue eyes find mine.Dance with me, Rose?

Yes to this dance. Yes to all the others. Yes to dancing through the stars, throughout the ages, throughout the realms, throughout every universe. Yes to you forever and ever and ever and ever.

He smiles. “Forever.”

Then he enters me.

I gasp, head roaring back with the sudden sensation of being completely and utterly full. I bite my lip, meeting his gaze.Don’t stop. Don’t stop.

He moves slowly, so achingly slowly, allowing me every moment I need to adjust to his size. I cling desperately to him, leaving purple dots along his skin. I feel something within him, his own emotions passing through our bond. He’s the beginning of a storm, a rising tempest barely contained.

His eyes never leave mine, and when he sheathes himself fully inside, he captures my lips, his heavy chest over me.

I sink into this moment, longing to linger here forever, whole andunbroken, filled with a bliss so exquisite it aches. Snowflakes kiss my skin, cold and fleeting, dissolving into warmth as if Winter itself bows to this connection. Around us, the air hums with the crackle of magic, alive and electric, like frost catching sunlight.

“Here we are.” Kel’s breath caresses my ear. “I wish I could stay here forever, inside you.”

I grab his face with both my hands and force him to look at me. “We don’t have forever. Not yet.”

“Then I will make this a night you will never forget,” Keldarion says, rich promise in his words. He claims my mouth with a fierce kiss, and then he begins.

The first thrust nearly knocks me senseless. I arch my back and whine. I swear if I looked down, I could see him in my stomach.

His chest stills against mine. Though he moves slowly, it doesn’t lessen the intensity. My pulse stutters, blood racing through my veins like an undammed river.

“Your body was made for me, Rosalina. You are pure magic.”

A current of pleasure shivers through me as I adjust to his size. I wrap my arms around his shoulders. He rolls, bringing me on top of him. I press down on his chest, crying out as this angle hits yet another untouched point.

“Take me deep, Rosalina,” Keldarion groans, gripping my hips. “Let me traverse every part of you.”

I’m losing body and mind, becoming something more. Kel’s right—he’s in every part of me, freezing me down to the very marrow of my bones.

I move faster, rising until he’s almost out of me and then slamming down. The shock of it shudders through me, binding us closer. And I do it again and again and again and again until he rears his head back, roaring into the night, so loud I’m sure the entire realm must hear it.

I slow, not ready for this to end, not ready to leave him.

“My Rose,” he rasps. Hands caress my body as he touches my breasts, then the swell of my stomach, before circling above my clit. The motion causes my inner walls to flutter, clench, tightening around him. He groans from the sensation.

“I am undone by my love for you,” I say.
