She put one knee on the bed and leaned over him. She lightly brushed her lips across his a few times, soaking up the soft warmth that she felt when she was around him. Then she glanced down and saw it, his erection tenting the sheets. She nodded toward his lap.

“Permission to come aboard?” she joked. Kinda. She knew he had to be up for the breakfast shift, but she figured it wouldn’t hurt to double check. Who knows? He might be up for another round. “If that’s something you’re into. I know you’re tired.”

“Last night was a mistake. I’ll never be too tired for you again. I’ll embrace the sweet death of sleep deprivation if it means I can spend just one more moment joined with you.”

“Okay. Relax, Romeo.”

Mason chuckled and pointed across the room. “I think there are prophylactics there in the recliner.”

Xeni grabbed some protection from the fresh box and came back over to the bed. She felt Mason’s eyes on her as she slid under the covers and slipped the condom over his hard length. She didn’t waste any time climbing over his hips so she could take a seat on his waiting erection. She watched his face as his eyes snapped shut. Her aching pussy welcomed him while she ran her fingers over his chest and down to his soft stomach. She took him easily, inch by inch until he was seated to the root. Rocking forward, she met him halfway as he leaned up so she could brush her lips against his.

So many things flooded her mind. How good it felt to be with him like this. How she knew this was more than just an arrangement, more than just a chemistry fluke. She knew in her heart that the spell she’d done had worked. She just never expected her perfect guy to be Mason McInroy.

“Okay, okay. I know your break is almost over, but finish your story.” Xeni turned off the light to the garage and walked back into the house. She’d knocked a lot off her to-do list, including scheduling an upgrade to the house’s security system for that Friday. Thursday, Mason was taking off so he could join her for a quick trip to Martha’s Vineyard. She needed to see the other house before she went back to California.

The call from Meegan was a welcome distraction. She caught her up on the gossip from the weekend, including some more messy mess she’d gotten herself into, but somehow they’d gotten off track and started talking about the contestants fromA Match Made in Paradise. The youths in the villa were always of interest to her, but she wanted to hear more about Meegan’s drama.

“Oh sorry. Anyway, yeah. So, I told him if we talked about it, it would have to be after hours, off campus. I can’t believe I fucked one of my student’s fathers.”

“It was an accident. And the kid has only been your student for, like, a week. You didn’t know.”

“I should screen next. Do you have any kindergarten-aged children, sir? Ma’am? Are you thinking public or private? Do live on the west side? If so, is it going to be an issue if I ask you to tie me up one night and then never call you again?”

“Do you think he’s going to get weird about it?”

“No, but I just—I don’t know. I feel like this is my life now. I can’t find aboyfriendboyfriend and I can’t find someone to just fool around with without some weird connection to some other part of my life popping up. L.A. is too fucking small.”

“No, the kink community in L.A. is too small. Go vanilla, girlfriend. Find you a nice boring man who only likes missionary.”

“But I’ll die,” Meegan said dramatically, before she burst out laughing. Xeni smiled and shook her head, happy she was finally back to feeling like she could have normal conversations with her friends. Well, normal for Meegan.

“I’m sorry I’m not there to laugh at you in person.”

“Me too,” Meegan sighed. “So, you’ll be back in action on Monday?”

“Yes. I get in late Sunday night. I’ll sleep as hard as I can and then I’ll meet you bright and early for our coffee and bitch session before I make these toddlers wish they were keeping that sub forever,” Xeni growled, completely joking. She was one of the softest teachers at Whippoorwill and the kids loved her. “Just a lot going on here still. I’ll tell you guys all at once in person when I get back. Way too much to type and way too much to explain to six people six different times.”

“I can’t wait. We miss you!”

“I miss you too.”

“Oh. There’s the bell. Let me go get these little babies from recess. Text me later if you can.”

“I will.”

“Buh-byeeee.”

“Bye.”

She ended her call with Meegan. Xeni was glad to hear her voice and now she was anxious to get

home and see her friends again, but she’d learned her lesson, dropping that bomb on her mom. She wanted to tell her friends everything, but she wanted to do it in person. She wanted to explain how things had gone from zero to sixty with Mason. And she wanted them to know that even though it was sudden and unexpected and they had no fucking clue what they were doing or how they were going to make things work, she was falling in love with him. Falling. Just falling. One hundred percent not there, but she was definitely packing for a long trip to In Love.

She thumbed around her phone and went back to see what the most recent text alert was all about it. It was from her mom.

Can you help Audra with her college applications?
