Jase

In my senior year of high school, we were given a project to write letters to a pen pal, a deployed soldier. I got Jase, and we kept writing after I graduated from high school. Even after he got home from deployment, we continued to write.

We never made plans to meet. We just kept writing through his training, his deployments around the world, and through the Dear John letter that nearly broke him. A few years ago, we made the transition to writing emails. But when he's deployed, I still write the paper letters because he says he enjoys getting them during mail call.

Avery doesn't know that we’ve talked on the phone a few times during his latest deployment. That’s a new development for us, and after hearing his voice, I was hooked. It's gruff and sexy, and the call didn't last but a few minutes, but his voice had me so turned on I couldn't stand it.

Also, Avery doesn't know that I've seen a few pictures of Jase. I did a few late-night stalking sessions and found some of him andhis Unit that had been mentioned in some newspaper articles, which led me to find his social media pages.

You would never guess that he's in his late thirties. He's handsome with a powerful body, built like a cover model. Not a guy who would be interested in a girl like me, so keeping all this online and on paper suits me perfectly.

I know Avery and my friends back home worry because Jase is eleven years older than me. He’s set to retire from the army in two years. I haven't dated much in the last few years, and they’re concerned.

Jase,

I landed and am now in my hotel room. Avery called to check on me the moment my plane landed. The ride from the airport was beautiful, and I can tell I'm going to have a great time taking photos here. Be prepared to be flooded with tons of beach photos.

I have a free day tomorrow after I do some location scouting in the morning, so I plan to take in the island then. I'm excited to walk down Duval Street and taste some of the local food.

Tuesday night is the bachelorette party. I'll be working on taking photos beforehand, and then my assistant will be taking photos while I relax with the rest of the bridal party. It’s going to be at thiscute little bar downtown that has dancing and these tropical drink names, basically, everything that Avery loves.

The only downside to this week is that Avery has decided to set me up with a date for the wedding because she didn't want me to go alone. This is her week, and I can't tell her no, but I plan to avoid the guy as much as possible.

Stay safe,

Rylee

Chapter 2

Jase

As the plane touches down, I start to think this might be a horrible idea. Keeping this little bit of information from Rylee felt like a huge lie, and we don't have lies and secrets between us.

When I got the news that my deployment was ending early, she was the first person I wanted to tell. But then this idea popped into my head. Now the plane is touching down in Key West, and I'm starting to doubt everything.

Rylee has the bachelorette party in just a few hours, and I know where it’s being held. I also know she’s scouting more locations for wedding photos tomorrow. That’s when I plan to surprise her.

After reading over the email from Sunday night again, my nerves disappear. There is no way in hell she's attending this wedding with anyone but me.

Once I get off the plane, I head straight to my hotel. I decided not to stay at the same hotel as the wedding but chose a hotel just down the street. I figured if at any point Rylee needs a break from all the wedding stuff, I’d be able to give her that retreat.

When I’m in my hotel room, I pull out my laptop and go straight to Rylee's social media pages. She’s been posting photos she's taken around the island. Of course, none of them are of her. They rarely are.

Rylee and I may have been writing to each other for the last seven years, but a few years ago, between deployments, I tracked her down on social media. When I saw a photo of her, my jaw dropped.

She is curvy in all the right places, sexy, and drop-dead gorgeous. Since then, it's her face I see at night and her body I crave. I want to knead the soft flesh of her hips as she rides my cock.

I know I'm too old for her. She’s only twenty-five, butfuck, the thought of her with anyone else kills me. So it's time to buck up and take the next step. That's what has led me here to Key West, Florida, of all places.

When my phone pings letting me know I have an email, I check it right away, and sure enough, it's from Rylee. Attached is a photoof the dress she’s wearing tonight. It's on a hanger, but I can picture it on her body, andfuckif every guy's eye won’t be on her tonight.

I hadn't planned to show up at the bachelorette party, but after seeing that dress she’s planning on wearing, I wanted to keep an eye on her. My strategy is to stick to the shadows, and she’ll never know I'm here.

The moment I walk into the bar, my eyes are drawn to her. I slip into the shadows and order a drink. I don't plan on drinking because I want to be completely sober to watch over her, but you can't stand at a bar without a drink in your hand.

The girl s she’s with look like they’re having a blast. They’re full of smiles, and the bride is easy to spot, decked out in a tiara and a bunch of dancing penises. They’re everywhere–necklaces, straws, earrings, and other jewelry they’re wearing.

I was right about the dress; the deep V-neck puts her tits on display, and the dress hugs every curve. A few guys watch her as she steps back from the group, taking photos.
