“I need you. Wake up.” I climb on top, straddling him, almost bouncing on him until he opens his eyes.

His hands glide up my thighs over the thin fabric of my leggings. “Well, come here then.” He squeezes my bottom and forces me down on his morning wood.

I gasp and steady myself, placing my palms on his bare chest. “Gray.” His name comes out like a breathy moan, and he thrusts his hips under me.

His hands slip under my t-shirt, caressing the skin on my back, then with both hands he pulls at my shoulders, pulling me down to him. His lips brush against mine, causing pooling heat at my centre.

“Why didn’t you come to me last night?”

“It was late when I came home. I was a little wasted. I didn’t think you’d thank me for waking you.”

“Did you have a good night?”

“Yeah, it would have been better with you, though.” He thrusts again, making sure I feel his dick. “You miss me?”

I roll my hips, loving how he fits between my thighs. “Yes.”

“You need this?” He thrusts his hips again. “You need me?”

“I need you to help me with the tables. We’ve sold out for the event.” The hypnotic spell his dick had me under is broken, but I don’t have time for this. We have work to do.

“You sold all the tickets?” His eyes widen, then he leans up and presses his lips to mine. “You’re a genius.”

I giggle. “I need all the tables moved and sixty chairs set up in rows. Hopefully, we can fit them in.”

“Sixty? We don’t have sixty chairs.”

I climb off him and straighten my t-shirt. “I thought we could use the garden chairs as well, you know, the ones that fold up.”

Gray jumps up from the sofa. “Just let me get dressed and wash up, then I’ll be down.” He looks at his erection under his boxer shorts. “Hopefully.”

“I’ll have to deal with that later, but right now, we have work to do.” I practically hop, skip and jump down the stairs and get to work on setting up the tearoom ready for the event. As promised, Gray helps me set the chairs out and move the tables out back for now and set up a table for signing books.

“You all set?”

I nod with a huge grin on my face as I scan the room. “Yep. Fit for aliterary geniusto give a talk and signing.”

He quirks a grin and pecks my lips. “I’m gonna head off then, leave you to it.”

“Oh right. I thought with us having a full house, you’d cancel your plans.”

“I told you I don’t work Sundays. I coach pee wee league.”

I pinch my eyebrows. “What?”

“Pee wee league, kids’ football. I coach on Sundays. I can’t let them down. The moms would string my balls up if I didn’t show.”

“Oh. Okay. I’ll manage.”

“The girls will be here soon.” He waves a hand and leaves through the main door, the bell dinging as he goes.

I take a deep breath. I can do this. Everything is going to be great. Donning my new apron that Gray bought for me, saying ‘naughty but nice like sugar and spice’, I set to work getting everything ready for the event.

The phone rings. “Hello, Tranquili-tea, how can I help you?”

“It’s Trudy’s husband. Her water broke.”

“Oh?”
