“Yes,” I pant into his mouth.

“You’ll not undermine me again, will you?”

If undermining him gets me this type of treatment, I can’t make any promises.

“Are you going to behave and talk to me before making decisions?”

“Yes.”

“Good girl.”

“Gray, I’m going to come.”

He spanks my cheek. “Don’t you come until I say.”

“I can’t help it, Gray.”

He pulls out of me and flips me over, with my bottom perched on the back of the couch. He pulls my legs around his waist as he plunges back into me with a grunt. “I want to watch your face when I make you come.”

My mouth parts. His fingers dig into my flesh as he holds me in place, rutting into me with bruising thrusts. Holding my shaky thighs, his face strains like he’s in pain and I cling to his shoulders to stop myself from falling backwards.

“Come for me, Cam.” With his next thrust, he rubs my clit against him, and again. He looks down between us, his own body shaking as he holds me. “Come now, flower.”

Hearing him call me that sends me over the edge. My eyes roll back in my head. I bite my lip to stop myself from crying out, though a moan reverberates from my throat. His thrusts become faster, and he groans deeper. I can’t feel him coming through my own pulsing orgasm, but I glance up at the ecstasy on his face. We’re still fully clothed, and it’s sexy as hell.

We’re two lifeless stars colliding to create a spectacular explosion, bursting with all the love I have for him. Love I’ve harboured and tried to ignore for the last ten years, but it’s always been him. Since our first kiss, the night he saved my life, my heart belonged to him. Now he can claim my body. It’s his. All his.

He slows, holding me still for a few seconds while he catches his breath, before pulling out of me and lowering my legs to the floor. Without words, he walks into the bathroom. I pull my skirt down and follow, waiting outside for him to finish up.

He opens the door, looking me up and down. “You all right?”

I nod and let out a small squeak, lifting my head, hoping he’ll kiss me, but the look on his face is pained as his brow wrinkles.

“I didn’t use a rubber.” He runs a hand over his face. “I’m sorry, Cam. I wasn’t thinking.”

“It’s all right. I have the shot.”

His shoulders relax with an exhale. “Okay, as long as you’re all right.” Lifting my chin, he presses his lips to mine gentler than five minutes ago. “I’ll see you down there.”

I nod again and close the bathroom door behind me. My flushed face burns hotter than the urns. With poor air con up here, I’m burning up. That has to be the hottest sex I’ve ever had.

I chew on my bruised bottom lip. His touch seared into memory. If this happens for disobeying, I’m not likely to be doing as I’m told any time soon. Though when he calls me his good girl, it does things to my body that I can’t explain.

I don’t mean to undermine him. I’m just used to managing things at work and being in charge and making decisions on my own. Of course, I have to answer to my shitty boss, but I get to manage my own clients.

After washing up in the bathroom, I add a little lippy and powder to my face so I don’t look like I’ve just been fucked to the other side of Christmas. My core pulses with the aftershocks of him. A smile spreads across my face. Nobody can top Gray, and he seems to want me as much as I want him.

I could work as a freelance web developer. I’m sure lots of businesses around here would need my services. And when I’m not freelancing, I can help in the tearoom.

CAMI

Iwake up early, my usual time since I’ve been here, and creep through the living room to the bathroom, not wanting to wake Gray. I’d hoped he’d sleep in the bed with me again last night, but he went out with Noel and must have just crashed on the sofa.

His brow wrinkles as if in deep thought, and I want to slide my hand over his forehead and iron out the creases, taking all his problems away. Hopefully, I can help him one way or another.

Opening my laptop while my morning tea brews, I form my mouth into an O. The notification from the booking system I set up tells me we’re sold out. I can’t contain my excitement and run upstairs to wake Gray. “Gray, get up.”

He rolls over when I shake his shoulder. “Too early.”
