I missed her smile that could light up a whole room, I missed how easily she blushes around me, and the way she turns her head in the hopes that I can’t see it.
Seeing her again has me wanting so many things. Things I shouldn’t want.
“Oh, come on! You hittin’ that? If you’re not, I’d sure like to.”
“Stay away from her,” I warn, my jaw clenching at the thought of his hands on her.
“And why’s that?”
“Because she’s different. Too good for the likes of you, asshole.”
And me for that matter.
“Ouch,” Vin feigns being hurt by my words, slapping a hand over his heart dramatically. “Well, dude, if you ain’t fuckin’ her, all I can say is, what the fuck are you doing?”
“It’s not like that.”
“Sure looked that way back in the office, looked like you were about to fuck right there and then.”
“She’s just a friend.”
“Friend? Yeah, tell that to your dick.” He glances down at my crotch which is sporting a semi, the bulge clear through my jeans.
Fuck.
Without bothering to continue the conversation, I storm into my office and slam the door, the thin glass panel in the door rattling. I sink down into my chair and desperately try to rid the barrage of images that invade my mind.
It’s not the first time I’ve thought of all the ways I could have her, in fact the very same images have occupied my mind for some time now. Images of having her in every possible position, underneath me, on top of me, against me in the shower…
Fuck!
I need a distraction, and I know just the place.

“Fuck, bro, look at the tits on her,” Tyler comments, reclining back in his seat as we watch the girl on stage shimmy her chest in the tiny red bra she’s wearing.
“Nah, man. Brunettes don’t do it for me. But, that beautiful blonde over by the bar is a bit of me,” Vince chimes in. “Just like Lo’s gal from earlier.”
“Shut the fuck up, man, and stay away from her,” I scold.
He holds his palms up in surrender. “Sure, whatever you say, dude,” he says with a laugh and I roll my eyes.
“Leave him alone, Vin. Can’t you see how twisted up she’s got him? He’s been different since she left.”
Ty is one of my other mechanics besides Vin. They’ve both been with me for years and I think of them more as friends than employees.I met Vin first and he’s been with me the longest, then one day Ty showed up looking for a job, and it just so happened I needed an extra mechanic.
We’ve come toLeather ‘n’ Lace, the local strip club, it’s the perfect distraction.
It’s my first time back since a load of shit with Dwight’s girlfriend, Quinn, went down back when she worked here. It’s not dingy like some other clubs I’ve been to, for a not so great part of the city, it’s surprisingly respectable and not a total dive.
Vince is soon tugged away for a private dance by the blonde he was eyeing at the bar, leaving just Ty and me.
“Anyone caught your eye yet, Lo?” he asks, knocking back his tumbler of bourbon.
I shake my head, taking a swig of my beer. “No, not yet, man.”
That’s a lie.
