“You didn’t say you was talking to Jam though. You said you and Brianna good.”
“Damn, nigga. You jealous?”
“Imma need you to tell me how you and my bitch good before I beat yo ass in this mufucka.”
“Stop playing with me, you know I don’t get down like that. You know I wasn’t fucking with her, but she explained everything and we good. Ain’t that how you want it?”
“Yeah, but after I set it up that way. Don’t be going behind my back and shit.”
“You acting like a tender ass jit right now.” Pushing him in his head, I parked when I pulled up to the home. Truth is, that made me happy as hell to hear. They were too important to me to be beefing with each other. There was no way me and Brianna could be together if her and Landon didn’t get along. I wasn’t abandoning him for nobody, so I’m glad it worked out that way.
“I’ll be back to get you when I come back in town. You know we got two games there, so don’t get to freaking out.”
“Yall ain’t gone make it both games. Yo ass out of there tonight boy.” Unlocking my door, I put his ass out.
“Yeah, that’s your time. Fuck out of my car.” Laughing, he opened the door and climbed out. After he closed the door, he leaned through the window to say something else.
“You ain’t gotta come get me though. I’ll have Brianna pick me up and I’ll keep her company while you’re gone.”
“I’m about to call the front desk and tell them to restrict your pass.” His smile dropped because he knew they would let me. Pulling off, I left him wondering if I was going to do it or not. I was talking shit though. I would love for Brianna to have a relationship with Landon to that degree. That way, I will always know he good whether I’m there or not. Until my OG was back at a hundred percent, he had to wait on me.
Now running behind, I took off towards the airport. Hopefully, it took her ass a while at baggage claim. I didn’t want to hear her mouth, and I was low key excited. This was the longest month of my life. I’ve been waiting on this day and now it was finally here. As long as she was in Chicago, her ass was going to play hard to get. I had her ass here with me, so I had more time to wear her ass down. Starting with the living arrangements. If she thought her ass was staying at a hotel, she had me fucked up.
My text went off, and I looked down. Seeing it was her, I opened my messages. She was letting me know where she was standing. After I let her know I was pulling up, I tried to calm my nerves. I ain’t want her thinking she had a nigga bitched out. All that shit went out the window though as soon as I parked. I’ve never jumped out of my whip so fast in my life.
“Took you long enough.” She had a big smile on her face looking just as excited as me.
“Girl, shut up. You just walked outside. Hey Jammie Jam, you missed me?”
“Hey, daddy. I’m tired. Can we go now?” I grabbed her and pulled her to me and gave her a hug.
“Yeah, and you ain’t gotta get on the plane for a while unless we going on vacation. You’re here to stay.” She smiled as I put their stuff in the car while they climbed in. Once I got inside, I took off not really knowing what to say.
“Daddy, are you broke?” I looked over my shoulder confused, and I could hear Brianna trying her best not to laugh.
“Hell naw. Yo daddy rich, and so are you. Why you ask me that?”
“Because mommy said I need to tell you not to let her be homeless.” I could see the shock on Brianna’s face and fell out laughing.
“That’s what yo ass get trying to get a child to do your dirty work.”
“I didn’t.”
“You did,” I said back to her laughing. “Jam, yo mama full of shit.”
“Mommy you gotta boo boo?” Me and Brianna both fell out laughing.
“No baby. Your daddy is being a jerk.”
“Jam, I can’t wait to show you your room,” I said trying to rub it in. I never had intentions on taking her to a hotel, but since she pulled that bullshit, I was going to make her sweat. Me and Mila talked about our house all the way to my exit.
“I’m sorry you have to be homeless mommy. I’ll send you pictures of our house every night. That way you can pretend you have a house too.” This time, I fell out laughing. Reaching over, I grabbed Brianna’s hand, but she snatched it away.
“Shorty ma, I’ll still love you in your cardboard box.” Her ass looked out the window causing me to laugh harder. When Ipulled up to the house, she jumped out and walked to the door leaving us behind. I grabbed Mila out first, and then grabbed their bags. When we walked inside, I went straight to Mila’s room and showed her what I did. I had it decorated like Princess and the Frog, and she lost her shit. I even had Tiana’s kitchen to top it off. She loved that movie, so I knew she would like it.
“Oh my God, daddy. This is the best room ever. All we need now is a new fish tank.”
“Baby, I went to look but all the fish died. I think they not having no more babies.” Her face dropped and I had to fight to keep from laughing.
