“All fine.” If he tosses me that wide, fake smile again, I might slap him. “I know that look. It’s usually reserved for Levi though.”
“Oh, I’m sure it will be soon enough. Where’s your weed?”
“Only if you agree to smoke the indica. You need to relax, not get more anxious.”
“When have you ever known me to like sativa?” I mumble, knowing he’s still correct.
I need to fucking relax.
Chapter Two:
Blood Sport
Sidney
Levi looks so fucking good I could die. His dirty blonde hair is perfectly fucked, hanging over his bloodshot green eyes that barely draw attention away from the rest of him. Tattoos peak out of the collar of his black henley, fitted so well I can practically see the v line snaking into black jeans.
I really shouldn’t be staring like this.
“No way, you’re high!” he states obviously, a laugh bubbling out of him. “Why don’t you ever get high with me?”
Leo is late, which means Levi has chosen to play nice for now.
But I haven’t.
“You’ve never asked, which is funny because I’m usually the one supplying you.”
“I haven’t?” He thinks about that for a second before moving on. “Whatever, let’s smoke right now.”
He doesn’t need anything else in his system, especially when I have no clue what else he’s on right now.
And honestly, I don’t think I need any more, either. “I’m already a little too high and Leo will be here any minute. Next time, though.”
That wipes his smile away. For a second, it almost seems as though he’s going to say something — anything — to save mefrom this torture, but instead he brushes past me to go make himself a drink. “I thought you were the only one allowed a plus one because Alaina doesn’t count?” I hear him mutter to Bash, but as he’s explaining how serious Leo and I are now, the man himself walks in looking lost.
“There you are.” Closing the distance, Leo kisses my cheek and pulls me in for a hug so he can whisper, “Whose house is this again? I always forget who the singer is.”
Because you listen to rap. Don’t remind me, Leo.
“Bash, my best friend in the world and the guy currently not looking at you like he wants to kill you,” I whisper back. “The other one is...”
Standing straighter, he seems to realize who it is just as Levi slots his entire body in between us. “Do I get a hug too?”
His grin is a little too manic for my tastes, but Leo hesitantly obligates and hugs the only man I’ve ever loved. This is fine.
