A historic manor. Elaborate theme. All the intricate elements required to impress the most elite. The only thing missing was thegroom.

Such. Bull. Shit. All ofit.

A gossamer tulle dress. My hair in a romantic upsweep adorned with a single white plumeria picked fresh from the garden. My dad to walk me from our new beachfront home to the bridal canopy on the beach. Seven guests who mean the world to us. It’s all I need to say “I do” to my handsome Domgroom.

“Remember what we practiced, Michaela? You’re going to walk from here to your daddy. He’s waiting for you right down there on thebeach.”

She’s only three so this should be fun. But it doesn’t matter. There’s nothing formal about this wedding. And I couldn’t imagine my sweet girl not being part of our big day; I love her dearly, as though she is myown.

“I get to drop the flowers this time?” Her small voice is sosweet.

“Yes. And when you get to the beach, you’ll go to your daddy and sit in hislap.”

Michaela walks toward the beach and makes it about halfway to the bridal canopy before she spots Adam and takes off running for him. Some brides might be upset that she didn’t drop the petals but all I can do is giggle. It’s a memory that we’ll laugh about for years to come. And my God, nothing has ever been as adorable as her jumping into his arms in her white tutu dress. I don’t think I could stand it if she was anycuter.

The wedding planner touches my arm. “It’s your turn now, EmmaLia.”

Okay. Heregoes.

My dad and I walk the path leading to my almost husband. He slows his pace when our feet meet the sand. “Are you sure, baby? I know that you’re pregnant, but it’s not too late to walk away if you’re not one-hundred-percentpositive.”

“I love him, Dad. I can’t even think about living without him. I’ve never been more certain of anything in mylife.”

My dad nods. “That’s all that I needed tohear.”

I pass my bouquet to Avery when I reach the bridal canopy and Tristan takes my hands in his, squeezing them. “You are the most breathtaking bride I’ve ever seen, mon bien-aimé.”

The officiant gives us a moment to exchange words to one another and then begins. “Dearlybeloved…”

Our wedding ceremony is short. And of course, the scripture that Tristan chose was about wives submitting to their husbands but also the duties of the husbands in protecting and caring for their wives. It couldn’t be morefitting.

I see so much love in Tristan’s eyes as he looks at me. And lust. But now it’s for his wife. His wife who will submit to himforever.

I am his finalsubmissive.

My possessive alpha Dom. He knows just how hard to push. How hard to squeeze. How hard to bite. Damn these pregnancy hormones. I’m getting turned on thinking about it, and it’s going to be a while before Tristan can make mecome.

“You may kiss yourbride.”

Tristan cradles my face in his hands and presses one of the sweetest kisses ever on my lips before pressing his mouth to my ear. “I love you, Mrs. Broussard. And I’m going to fuck you into next week when I get youalone.”

“I love you, Mr. Broussard, and I truly look forward tothat.”

“It pleases me to introduce to you Mr. and Mrs.Broussard.”

Tristan Broussard

Hooded, lustful eyes watching me. Nibbling her bottom lip. Emma Lia is giving me the look. Unspoken words telling me what she wants. What she needs from herDom.

But what the fuck am I supposed to do about it right now? It’s cake and toasting time. Our friends and family, although only seven people, are here in our house, and they won’t be leaving anytime soon since they’re staying here as well. That part, I didn’t think out verywell.

We cut the cake and drink champagne with our loved ones. Well, I drink champagne. Emma Lia has sparkling white grapejuice.

I’m talking with Easton and Cat when I see Emma Lia entering the hallway that leads to the master suite. She looks over her shoulder, tilting her head, and I recognize her unspoken plea for me to follow. And of course, I follow. I know what my bridewants.

The pursuit ends in our bedroom. “Mrs. Broussard. Are you in need of something from yourhusband?”
