“Nope, say you trapped me, or you won’t get those pickles.”

Laying her on the bed, I pushed her legs open then came up like I was giving her a stroke. My thumb toyed with her clit, making her squirm.

“Say you trapped me because you wanted to have a piece of me forever.”

“I’ain sayin that. Fuck!” She moaned once my mouth replaced my thumb.

“Say it or I’m sucking harder.”

“Just suck harder,” she told me followed by a louder moan.

Doing as she asked, I started eating her pussy like my shawty’s life depended on that shit. Once she came hard, my baby rolled over and fell asleep. Now I was looking around the room, trying to see what she had in store for me with the lights off and this sexy shit on. When my eyes landed on the whipped cream, handcuffs, and strawberries, I tried to wake her ass up.

“Ay baby, get up. My turn. Baby,” I called out, tapping her on her thighs. “Baby, I wanna be sucked to sleep, too.” I tried to whine like she did when she wanted me to take her shopping.

Fanning me off, she rolled over. Giving up, I pulled the covers over her then left out the room to turn some fucking lights on. I’d know next time to get my nut first ‘cause this some bullshit.

Seeing her pickles on the table, I popped them open then sat right there and tried my best to eat the whole fucking jar. She wanted to be petty and stingy, I'd do that shit too.

CHAPTER 6

BROOKLYN

Jersey:Can you come over, please?

Me:You know I gotta go to work. I’ll come by on Saturday.

Jersey:We need you here now. Something is wrong and Dad won’t tell us. He just keeps telling Austyn and I to stay out of grown folks' business. Since you are grown, we figured you could get in their business

Huffing, I read my little sister Jersey’s text over and over. Trying my best to decipher the wordsstay out of grown folks' businessto see why they were being so secretive.

Me:Give me a minute, I’ll be over there.

Instead of going to the studio to put some more work into Kim’s song, I headed to my parents' crib. Knowing my mama, she was gone curse my ass out for not letting her know I was coming by. Son or not, she’on play that poppin’ up at her house shit.

She had my lil’ cousin, Kabresha, make her a custom doormat that say, BUT DID YOU CALL FIRST? With her picture on the side, muggin’. She already knew, I was always on some poppin’ up shit, especially since this little feeling that I’d been having hadn’t gone away yet. Jersey’s text only added to my thoughts.

I couldn’t put my finger on what it was yet, but it was really fucking with my mental. Divorce played heavy on my mind and that’s the last thing I wanted. I’d been working so much that I had to admit, it’d been weeks since I’d been over there.

Pulling in, I parked behind my pops’ truck then headed inside. The smell of breakfast being cooked made my stomach growl.

“Yoo... yooo, where everybody at?” I called out while walking through the house. I didn’t see anyone in the kitchen, but plateswere made on the table. Taking the stairs two at a time, I headed to the other end of the house towards my parents' room.

I stopped immediately when I saw Austyn and Jersey helping Mama down the hall.

“Hey, Baby,” she weakly spoke once she laid eyes on me. Swiftly, I was at her side.

“Mama, what’s wrong?” I fought back tears as I looked at my mother. Her frail frame answered all the questions that were running through my mind; she was sick.

“Well... BK…” She paused after calling me by my initials. “…right now, I'm hungry and these little girls aren’t getting me to the kitchen fast enough.”

“I got her.” Lifting my mom up bridal style, I carried her down the steps and into the kitchen.

“When did you get so strong, Baby? You used to be a scrawny lil’ thang.” Austyn and Jersey giggled while taking their seats at the table. “If it weighed more than the pound of sugar you used to pour in the Kool-aid when you made it, then you weren’t picking it up. Or maybe I’ain nothing but a pound now a days. I’ve just been here... wasting away.”

“Mama,” my voice trembled. “Where Pops at?”

“He’s outback in his mancave,” Jersey mumbled through a mouth full of pancakes.
