I cannot believe you won the Oscar for Best Picture!
I didn’t watch the ceremony, but I saw a clip of your acceptance speech on YouTube.
You look very nice in a tux.
And I love that you were all sarcastic as per usual and then you dedicated the award to your son.
It made me cry.

I love the idea of the hero surprising the wife he’s separated from by hanging Christmas lights on the house, but maybe that should happen earlier, in the second act. It’s not enough of a grand gesture. His wife should say as much.
As much as I hate those “You complete me” scenes where the hero rushes to see the woman he loves at the end of the movie, especially when it involves impromptu traveling, I think we need that for this one.
And as much as I hate driving I-5 at night, especially during the holidays…I hate being over two hundred miles away from Cleo. So, I get it now. I understand everything now. And I’m going to get my girl.
