“Yeah.”
“What doyouhear?”
“In-to-me,” Colin said, pointing to himself. Then he bent and kissed Joshua’s bare shoulder. “I dropped the walls and let you see into me.”
Joshua pulled Colin down on top of himself and kissed him again and again, pausing to nibble and lick at Colin’s beautiful, full lips before pressing their lips together. “Perfect, my love,” he whispered between kisses. “Just perfect.”
Colin lifted his head and looked down into Joshua’s eyes. “Perfect, huh? You do remember, don’t you, that we’re both covered in gallons of sticky cum, which you are now smearing into our skin like a scented lotion.”
Joshua chuckled, his lips still tingling from their kisses. “Yes,” he murmured, “but it's still perfect. If we were in a movie, this would be the most poignant, romantic moment in the whole flick, what with our entwined bodies covered in sticky love juice.”
Colin gave a soft laugh and nuzzled against Joshua’s neck. “OK, bud. Time to crawl out of this bed and take a shower.”
“Are David and Nate back yet?”
Colin groaned as he lifted himself off Joshua’s body and stumbled out of bed. “I dunno.” He walked to the door connecting the two staterooms and paused, listening. “I don’t hear anything.” He balled up his fist and banged on the door. “Hey! Youhere?”
“Colin!” Joshua exclaimed, laughing as he, too, climbed out of bed. “You’ll wake the whole damned ship!”
Colin’s eyebrows lifted. “Josh, do yourememberwhat kind of cruise you’re on? This is a gay cruise taking place duringPridemonth. We’re not going to wake anyone, trust me.” He grinned. “Half this ship is probably high on poppers.”
“You don’t have a very high opinion of our fellow passengers.”
“Sure I do! Married one, didn’t I.” He shook his head. “I’m not saying they’re like that all the time. But you’re probably the only guy not letting his hair down a little on this cruise.”
“Not theonlyone,” Joshua muttered.
“Well, you know I’m not big on drugs of any kind, and besides, I don’t need poppers to get high. I haveyou!” He moved to Joshua’s side and held out his hand. “They’re not back yet. C’mon, take a shower with me.”
“And yetanotherromantic moment,” Joshua said, grinning as he took Colin’s hand.
“I have not yetbegunto tap my potential as a romance master,” Colin informed him, drawing Joshua into the shower.
“Well, this seems like the perfect place to explore that territory.”
Colin’s arm hooked Joshua’s waist and pulled him tight against his body as the warm water flowed over them. “Way ahead of you, bud.Wayahead of you.”
CHAPTEREIGHT
SERGEANT CAMPBELL
Joshua jolted awake the following morning and bolted upright in bed, shaking his head. A loud banging had startled him from sleep, and he turned toward the door linking their stateroom with David and Nate’s. “Dammit, Nate!”
Beside him, Colin groaned and leaned on an elbow. “It’s not Nate,” he muttered, shaking his head. “It’s our stateroom door. What the fucktimeis it?”
“It’s nearly eight,” Joshua told him, then turned toward the door. “Hang on a damn second!” He threw on a pair of Colin’s sweatpants and jerked the door open. “What the fu?—”
“I’m sorry, Mr. Campbell, but would it be possible to talk to your husband?”
For a moment, Joshua just stared. “You’re…”
“I’m Blake Sinclair. We met the other night?”
“Officer Sinclair?” Joshua muttered, still struggling to clear his head. “Is something wrong?” He backed into their stateroom, ushering Sinclair into the room, and then turned to Colin, who had gotten out of bed and was pulling on a pair of jeans. “It’s the security officer from the other night. Sinclair.”
“What’s up?” Colin asked as he strode to where Officer Sinclair waited.
“Mr. Campbell, may I speak to you for a moment on a matter of…” Sinclair hesitated, then sighed. “Of extreme urgency?”
