Joshua shook his head, laughing. “Did you tell him that your husbandwouldmind?”

“I told him to fuck off. Then I made the mistake of turning away to order David’s cognac, and I think that’s when he dosed my drink.” He steered Joshua onto a nearby elevator and pushed the button for their floor.

When they got off, Joshua drew him to a halt. “Do you want to run up to the Lido for pie?”

“Nope,” Colin told him, moving them forward again. “Pie isn’t on the menu tonight. I’m craving a different kind of dessert.” He tightened the arm that draped around Joshua’s neck and led them down the corridor to their suite.

Inside, Joshua moved to the balcony and leaned on the railing, peering at the brilliant night sky. “The stars are amazing here.” After stargazing for a moment, he spun to face Colin and grinned when he saw his husband lying naked on their bed. “Wow! You weren’t kidding, were you!”

“Hey! You’re the one who requested this interlude,” Colin said, leaning on an elbow as he gazed at his husband. “You said that you required my full and eager participation.” He indicated his naked body with a wave of his hand. “Well, here I am. Eager to participate.”

Laughing softly, Joshua entered the suite and closed the balcony’s sliding door.

“You sick of the fresh Alaska air?”

“No. I’m sick of being teased about howloudI get when we make love.”

“Ah! I see! You afraid you’ll scare the whales?”

Joshua snickered as he began to peel off his clothes. “More afraid of scaring our fellow passengers.”

“Fuck ‘em,” Colin muttered, flopping onto his back. “It’s a boat full of gay men who will all be making noises of their own. Open the door. I want to smell the salt air.”

“There’s a few gaywomenon this boat too, you know.”

“I feel sorry for the lesbians,” Colin said, watching Joshua as he moved around their stateroom. “Having to deal with all these goofy gay boys.”

“They’ll survive,” Joshua said as he opened the balcony door. “They’re used to overlooking our nonsense.” He tossed the last of his clothes onto a nearby chair and crawled into bed, snuggling himself against Colin’s side. “God, I love this,” he whispered. His eyes drifted shut as he buried his face against Colin’s neck, sucking in a long inhale through his nose.

“What is it you love?” Colin asked him. “The way my skin smells after I spent all day tromping around on an Alaskan glacier and not taking a shower?”

“Something like that,” Joshua murmured. He slid his tongue along the base of Colin’s neck, then up his throat, stopping now and then to nibble and suck, inching his way onto Colin’s body until he lay on top of him, their naked skin touching down their entire length.

“You just crave male pheromones,” Colin chuckled.

“Well, I craveyours, that’s for sure!”

A gentle Alaskan breeze mingled with the music of waves lapping against the ship’s side, creating a sweet melody that enveloped them both, making the world around them fade into the background. Joshua could feel the rise and fall of Colin's chest beneath his own, a reassuring rhythm that mirrored his heartbeat. He lowered his head again, capturing Colin's lips in a fiery kiss, their tongues entwining in an intimate dance.

The salty tang of the ocean filled his senses as he leaned back, staring into Colin's honeyed-green eyes. “I've been craving this moment all day,” he whispered, his voice blending with the soft sounds of wind and sea. “And it’s not just about the pheromones. It’s about the intimacy—the way our souls come together, like two puzzle pieces that fit perfectly.”

The tenderness in his voice mirrored the love that shone in his eyes, and Colin smiled, deepening the crinkled lines around his own eyes, the lines that Joshua loved. “I feel it, too,” he whispered, then captured Joshua’s face between his palms. “There’s going to be a new book about love and marriage,grá mo chroí, and we’re going to write it, you and I.” He drew Joshua’s lips to his own, and their mouths met with a hungry, urgent passion that melted Colin’s bones. He gasped, and his mouth opened wider, breathing in Joshua’s breath, tongues touching in a delicate dance that ignited every cell in his body.

“God,” he whispered. “God, I want you so much!”

“Just as I want you, myyedid.”

Once more, Colin captured Joshua's lips in a long, passionate kiss, savoring the sweetness of his mouth. He wanted to stay like this forever, feeding on his husband’s kisses as though they were his only source of sustenance. He felt Joshua’s body writhing against his own, sliding the hardness of his erection against Colin’s rigid male heat.

As their lips parted, Joshua’s hand dropped to grip both their throbbing cocks, and Colin groaned into his neck, the wild, hot flare of arousal between them sucking the air from his lungs. His hips thrust wildly as Joshua stroked them both, his entire body engulfed in a desperate need that consumed every other thought, every other sensation. He was nothing, at that moment, outside of the hunger they shared.

Above him, Joshua’s breath hitched. He called out Colin’s name, his voice hoarse, rough-edged with need. His whimpers and cries seemed driven from him, forced from his throat by the intensity of his desire. “Oh, god, Colin!” His hand moved faster, jerking their hot, swollen cocks, already slippery with pre-cum, moaning as every motion of his hand seemed to intensify the sharp, desperate heat of their desire.

“Come on, baby,” Colin urged through clenched teeth as his hips lifted again and again. “Faster, Josh! Fuck! Do it faster! Hurry! God, I’m so close!” He whimpered and bowed his back, driving himself into Joshua's hand, his body tightening in sweet, agonizing desire. Lights danced in front of his eyes as his body exploded in anguished ecstasy. And then Joshua’s hot seed erupted between them as he came too, their bodies shuddering in blissful union.

Still shuddering and twitching with bursts of wild pleasure, Joshua cried out and fell forward onto Colin’s body. He felt Colin’s arms and legs close around him, crushing them together until Joshua felt sure they would merge into one bright, shining being so steeped in love and unity that they melted into one soul.

“Jesus,” Colin whispered, clutching Joshua against him, feeling sure at that moment that he could not survive having to release him.
