I throw a pair of jeans into my bag and grab my phone charger, then toss it in along with an extra pair of boxers and some socks.

The only thing we leave at Parker’s is an extra toothbrush. They’ve got enough hair and skincare products to serve a small army, even though I’m not sure I’ve ever seen them use any of it.

Gathering my stuff, I step into the living room. Devon and Levi are still in there. Levi is resting his head on Devon’s thigh, his eyes closed. Devon doesn’t even spare me a glance as I walk into the room.

“I’m heading out.”

Devon gives me a half-wave. “Have a good night.”

“You guys too.”

When I get to Parker’s, Landon is already there.

“Hey, you two,” I say, stepping into Parker’s small kitchen.

“No, not like that,” Parker says, hands on their hips. “Yes, exactly like that.”

“What’s going on in here?” I ask, chuckling.

Parker huffs, and Landon turns to me with a wry grin. “I’m getting yelled at on my birthday.”

“You are not getting yelled at. I’m just trying to teach you what to do.”

Landon nods. “Right. I’m not getting yelled at. I’m just getting put to work on my birthday.”

Parker rolls their eyes. Gripping Landon around the waist, I spin him, backing him against the counter. I lean in close enough to brush my nose along his, my heart thrumming at the way his breath hitches. “Happy birthday, Cutie. I can’t believe you didn’t tell us.”

“I wasn’t hiding it,” he breathes.

I slot my lips over his. I have literally no idea how I hung out with him for so long without this. Without the way his warm, supple mouth moves over mine, without the way his breath catches, and without the little whimpers and moans he lets out.

Cupping his jaw in my hand, I tilt his head to the side, deepening the kiss and sweeping my tongue past his lips. I know it’s probably impossible, but I’d almost swear I can taste Parker on his tongue.

When I finally break the kiss, Parker is blinking at us with open lust flashing in their eyes. It’s such a contrast to the way they looked at us the first time we kissed that it makes my heart skip a beat.

“Hi, Cotton Candy,” I say, grinning. Without letting go of Landon’s waist, I hook an arm around Parker, pulling them in until they’re pressed against Landon and me.

After Parker’s confession that they don’t want to feel like nothing to me, I always make sure to take extra care with them. So I slide my fingers gently into their hair, cupping the back of their head, and pull them toward me. The sigh they let out when our lips connect makes me smile into the kiss.

I make sure to keep it slow, even though I want nothing more than to do the opposite. I want to possess them, own them. Both Parker and Landon. I want to make them both mine in all the ways. But my sweet Parker doesn’t want to feel like they’re nothing to me, so I keep it deep and gentle, not stopping until they pull away.

“If you’re trying to distract me, it’s working. Also, you’re both early.”

“How much did you beat me by?” I ask Landon.

He grins. “Long enough to get a kiss and be bossed around.”

I laugh. “Well, what can we say?” I wink at Parker. “When our options are here with you or literally anywhere else, the clear winner is you.”

Pink spreads across Parker’s cheeks. “That’s gross.”

“And you love it,” I whisper, leaning in and dropping a peck on their lips.

“You wish. Alright, now let me cook. Go… entertain yourselves or something.”

“Entertain ourselves?”

Parker nods, a hint of fear flashing in their eyes.
