Me
Yeah, your 21st at that.
Cotton Candy
How about I make dinner?
Me
…Talented artist, most adorable enby on planet earth, and can cook? Shame marriages of three aren’t a thing.
I couldn’t wipe the smile off my face if I tried. These two have unleashed feelings in me that I didn’t even know existed.
Cotton Candy
I didn’t say I could cook well.
Cutie
that would be nice.
Cutie
as long as you’re sure.
Cotton Candy
I’m sure. Anything you like? I make a really good vegetarian lasagna and I can also do breakfast for dinner.
Cutie
lasagna sounds good.
Cotton Candy
Be here in anhour? Both of you?
Me
Sounds perfect.
Cutie
see you then.
I set my phone down with a smile. I’m falling in love with those two at an alarming rate. I think they’re falling too. At least, I hope they are.
“Guess I have plans after all,” I say, clearing my throat and standing.
Devon grins up at me. “Have a good night, dude.”
“Yeah,” Levi echoes, not even sparing me a glance.
After picking up my phone, I head into my bedroom, pulling the door shut behind me so I can pack a bag for tonight. It seems kind of pointless to keep packing bags to go to Parker’s apartment when a great majority of our time is spent there. I also know that if I started leaving things there, Parker might freak out.
After everything they shared about Lincoln, it’s no wonder they’re so afraid to let people in. I would be too. It’s not like many of my relationships have been serious. At least not as serious as I want the one between the three of us to be, but I’ve never had an experience like that before.
Landon’s got the right idea with the shitlist, and Lincoln’s at the top of mine, sharing space with Landon’s mom.
