Enzo watched his best friend leave his office, then looked at Sergio. "That asshole was a piece of work, wasn't he?"
Sergio snorted and nodded. "You could have killed him at any time. Why was he so arrogant?"
"Because people like him—those who have gotten away with fucking people over their whole lives and never had to face any consequences for their actions—are like that. It's up to people like me to put them in their place," Enzo said.
"Can I kill him when it's time?" Sergio asked.
"Not before I have my way with him. He all but called a n—"
"I want to slit his throat for that shit," Sergio said, unintentionally cutting Enzo off.
Enzo chuckled. "I appreciate you being insulted on my behalf."
Sergio nodded. "I want him to suffer."
"Then he's yours. But first, I need your head in the game regarding the triad," Enzo said.
"I'm ready."
"Good." Enzo wanted Li Mujin in his trap. If he could use Da Han's son as leverage, maybe they could end the war and kick the Jade Dragon Triad out of the country. Send them back to China where they came from.
Chapter six
Dragon
"Howmuchlonger?"Richieasked Dragon as his man fueled up his motorcycle.
"Not long, another twenty minutes until we get there," Dragon said, then twisted the cap back on his gas tank. He climbed on, then Richie climbed on behind him, wrapping his arms around Dragon's muscular waist.
The two hit the road and traveled until they reached The Kingdom, where their unfinished business awaited. Dragon parked his bike next to Ace's, and there was a black van also parked in front, and Dragon knew what that van was for. He helped Richie climb off then he dismounted.
"Are you ready for this?" he asked him.
"Been ready. I dreamed of this night since the first day he put his hands on me," Richie said.
Dragon nodded, then took Richie's face into his hands and kissed his Property Of. His forehead, then his lips.
"You two coming in or what?"
Dragon pulled back when he heard his older brother Ace's voice. He released Richie and turned to him. "Yeah, just had to have our little moment."
Ace chuckled as he stepped aside to let them in, then followed behind them, locking the door. Also inside were Big Dick and Bear, the two men who'd been guarding their target. The two men were in a heated debate, voices rising about something to do with music.
"What the hell are you two going on about?" Dragon asked, which caused both Bear and Big Dick to acknowledge their presence.
Big Dick cracked a smile. "Ah shit, nothing important, man." He walked over to Dragon and did their club handshake before hugging him, then greeting Richie. Bear did the same.
"So, what had you two in such a debate?" Richie asked because he was curious.
Ace snorted, then chuckled. "Those two fools started arguing about who was the best guitarist."
Big Dick rolled his eyes. "You're simplifying it." He turned to Dragon. "The question was, if you're at the crossroads with the devil and he gives you a chance to fight for your soul, but your champion guitarist has to defeat his demon guitarist, who would you pick?"
"Oooh, that's a good one," Richie remarked.
Dragon bit his lip as he nodded in agreement. "Shit, I'm going with Jimi Hendrix."
Ace laughed. "That's what I said."
