When he slides behind the wheel, he turns and squints at me. “You’re not being all ‘bride-zilla’ on us, are you?”

“No,” I pout. “Everyone has just been so serious. It’s not often we all get out together.”

His jaw tics as he reverses out of the parking spot. “I get that. You’re right.”

“I was kicking around the idea of having like a big dinner night once a month.” Lori gives me a wide smile, then reaches over to take Dad’s hand.

Now that I’m with Oliver, I can appreciate how special what they have is.

To think I hated it at first makes my belly knot.

“I like that. It’ll give all the kids a chance to play when they’re older.” It’s all I want. My family, together.

And it’s growing so fast.

“That extra room I had Oliver build? I was planning on it being a playroom for all of ‘em.” Dad picks up Lori’s fingers and kisses them gently.

Yea, they’re actually adorable.

I was a jerk.

When dad turns into the driveway heading for the ranch, I can see Ollie down working on the foundation for Sawyer’s house.

“Drop me here?” I pat the back of the seat, then brace myself when Dad comes to a stop. “Thank you!”

Hopping out, I take advantage of the beautiful weather and wander down the fresh gravel.

There’s my sexy man. Cowboy hat tilted as his muscles flex in his tight shirt.

I would fall for him all over again.

“Hey, baby.” He spots me with a smile, then hops over some boards to come and pick me up with a twirling kiss.

“I found my dress.” I’m beyond excited as I frame his face and pepper my lips over his.

“Oh good.” He lets me slide down slowly, patting my butt before he lets go. “How fast does it come off?”

“Um, with your help? Pretty quickly.” My fingers tangle with his as we walk slowly towards the main house.

“Perfect. Because once you say ‘I do’, I’m going to want to claim mywife,” he growls possessively.

It sends a warm thrill through me that soon we’ll be married and can start the rest of our lives.

Skipping the steps.

Saddle up, or piss your pants?

Oliver

I shouldn’t be thisnervous. After all, I’ve done this before, right?

Except I haven’t led with my heart first. Thisisdifferent.

These last few months have flown by and I love her more every day.

There’s no doubt in my mind how I feel.

Maybe it’s the crowd and all of the eyes that are going to be turned on us?
