“What do you think?”I twirl in front of the mirror and catch Lori’s eyes in the reflection.

They’re huge. But Char and Val are both grinning.

“I think it makes your tits look great,” Val laughs. “Oliver is going to rip it off right in the middle of the arena.”

“You think so?” I press under my breasts and let them fall, watching how they settle into the low cut neckline of the wedding dress.

Char taps her lips. “That train will look good when you aren’t moving, but will be a pain in the ass to walk in.”

“Ah, now see? That’s the kind of feedback I need.” I take a few steps and nearly eat shit when I trip over the lengthy hem. “Next,” I grumble, heading back to the changing room.

I can hear their giggles following me.

By the fifth, I’m starting to understand why so many opted for a small and simple ceremony. Just picking the darn outfit is a nightmare.

“I love that one,” Lori exclaims, clapping her hands lightly as I turn.

Char nods. “Me too. It’s simple but elegant.”

Val’s smirk says it all. “He’s gonna eat you up, girl.”

My hand drifts down to my growing belly. “Think that will poke out too much more in the next week?” I feel like it doubles every day now.

All three make some sort of negative sound in answer.

“Just avoid the cheese sticks this week, you’ll be fine.” Val gives me a finger-gun when I glower at her.

“Well, I want some twice as bad now, thanks for that.” My cravings have been next level. I could eat a house every time I sit down.

Dad, Sawyer, and Uncle Dixon’s shadows pass by the opaque windows of the boutique.

Ever since the heifers we shot, none of us have been left alone.

Ford and Blue are with Libby and April watching the babies back at the ranch.

It’s like we’re all on guard.

Yet no one argued when Oliver announced we would continue the wedding as planned.

I love my family.

As we leave, Dad carries the oversized box under his arm with an odd tension around his eyes.

“Can we go to Frozen Bones for ice cream?” I don’t want today to end.

“We are heading back to the bar.” Val loops her hand through my brother’s elbow and tugs him close.

The pink in his cheeks tell me it isn’t so they can open early.

Eww. I’m glad he’s happy, but gross.

“Besides, you can’t trade fried mozzarella for ice cream and think it won’t count.” Val wiggles her finger at me before turning Sawyer to their car.

“You are no fun. You’re supposed to be in this with me!” I yell after her.

With a sigh, I follow Dad and Lori to the truck and climb into the backseat.

Dad chuckles as he shuts first her door, then mine.
