“Mm, I am. A big one,” I pull my coat off and drop it on the couch.

“My mom would like you.”

When she says that, I pause, she does not know what these words are doing to me.

“Rose.” I call her.

“Hm?” She turns around.

“It’s just I want to know…”

“Know what?”

I gather the courage to accept whatever she tells me. I decided to ask her. “Your lawyer Simon, you two are not in a relationship, yeah?”

“What? No, we are not. He…” she chokes a small laugh. “He’s not my type, not even close to,” she expresses.

The desire and curiosity to kiss her are becoming overwhelming. She walks to meet me.

“You are my type, Dominic. I like YOU,” she places emphasis on the ‘you’ before trailing a hand down my chest.

I try to think of a response, but the only thing my head could process for a reply is; I pull her to me and busy my lips against her mouth. When her lips meet mine, I feel the tension inside me calm. She runs her left hand across my chest, unbuttoning my shirt as fast as her hand could let her. My hands reached for her zip too, and in no time, we pared off our clothes.

Time melts away as we explore each other; she takes my hands and lifts it to her breasts. Fondling it, I pull her slowly to lay with me on the couch. Her eyes are sparkling, reminding me of what I fell for again and again. I reach down and wrap my mouth around hers again. The kiss is intoxicating; I could do this for the rest of my life. My impatience wins as I thrust my size inside her gently.

“Mm,” her lips part in a silent moan; I move back up to kiss her; my lips start to miss the beautiful feel of hers against mine. Her eyes shut close as I pump in faster and deeper. This is everything; it is divine.

I move my mouth down, pulling it across the edges of her breasts. She is beautiful, and I want to savor her in every possible way. I hit every sweet spot inside her, and I love how she reacts to every of my touch. Rose is the most beautiful thing that has happened to me in years.

Her moan and my low growls fill the room as we both reach the climax. My heart tells me that nothing will break me apart from this woman, and I agree. She has carved her name in a permanent part of my heart.

I collapse on her, she reaches out and touches me appreciatively. I move forward to kiss her softly again.

“I love you,” I whisper in her ear. “You know I used to think you and Simon were in a relationship. To be honest, I got jealous at times. I was scared of rejection because I’ve been rejected so many times. You know…” I gesticulate with my hand, and I can feel her eyes all over me.

“I’m excited,” she says.

“You are?” I furrow my brows gently, wondering what she meant by that.

“Yeah, I’m glad they rejected you. That’s my luck, it’s my luck keeping you for me, sweetheart,” she plants a small kiss on my face.

“You are so sweet!” I pull her to me and begin another round of long kiss.

She makes me happy, and I promise to keep her forever. She is everything I’ve ever wished for. Spending forever with her is one thing I want so badly right now.

Epilogue

Three Years Later

ROSE

One thing I would never regret is marrying this handsome man that showers me with love every day. Dominic is a great husband and a great dad to our son. I can’t picture myself with another man. He is perfect for me, perfect for this family.

I watch him as he pets Jeremy to sleep. I can proudly say I married one of the best men in the world. We have been married for three years now, and he has never given me a cause to regret. I love him with everything I have.

“Baby,” I pull him to me, and he frames my small body with his big hands.

“The way you call me baby is the most beautiful thing I know,” he expresses, nibbling my earlobe with his mouth.
