Wake up!I tap my head twice, forcing my eyes to open again.

I shop for important items and a few unimportant ones because I know I won’t be stepping in this supermarket until God knows when. So, I better stock a lot of things that won’t finish in just two weeks.

When my basket is full, I walk to the cashier’s counter. A tall man is standing there, but it seems he has been attended to already. I saunter sleepily to the counter, and the next thing I feel against my body is the man’s big body.

“Ouch!” I exclaim, holding my left arm. My left arm hurts so much already. Why did this man bump into me, just why?

“Oh, my God! I’m so sorry,” he bends forward to examine my arm. When his big hands touch my arm, in an attempt to examine it, my breath hooks in my throat.

I start by staring at his arm, the muscles are even a bit more than the ones on Lucas’ arms. It indicates that this man works out too.

“It’s okay, I’m okay,” I say as I make a move to raise my left arm, but it isn’t cooperating with me.

Damn it!

“I think you should see a doctor. I’ll foot the bills, so sorry about the…”

He’s such a gentleman, I look up slowly and flash him a slight smile. A ‘wow’ look creeps on my face, but I quickly shove it back. This man is hot in every sense of the word; it’s hard to not scan his body with my eyes. He’s burly, muscular, and he has a unique face. His beard looks roughly trimmed, I can’t see his hair because he is wearing a cowboy hat. But I can tell that he’s blond.

He does not look like the modern-day men; he looks different in a unique way. And he’s big, my God! I like big men.

“I’m fine. I sprained it earlier while working, so it's not about the collision. Don’t worry about me,” I smile at him again.

I’ve been told so many times that I look gorgeous when I smile.

“Oh, but I still think you should see a—”

“I’m a doctor, so I can take care of myself,” I explain politely, trying not to sound rude or downright obnoxious.

After explaining it to him, I walk to clear my bill before doing anything stupid, like throwing my body against him.

He walks outside the supermarket, and I turn around to observe his back view. I’ve never seen him around here before.

“Ma’am?” the cashier called my attention back.

“Oh, I’m sorry,” I apologize before stretching my credit card towards her.

A small smile draws across her face. “That man is hot!” she states the obvious.

“I think so,” I shrug, not wanting to engage her in any conversation about the man.

I look around in search of Lucas, and there he is, flirting with a lady. I choke a small laugh, shaking my head from left to right.

“Hey,” he winks at me before placing his grocery bag on the counter.

After paying, we walk out of the supermarket together. Lucas starts his funny teasing again.

“Since you don’t have a boyfriend, allow me to treat you the way gentlemen treat their women,” he collects the two bags I’m carrying, and we both laugh.

“You are only doing the right thing. I am your older sis; you should carry the heavy bags.” I pat his back, and he smirks.

“Please go in, Princess,” Lucas utters as he pulls the car’s door open.

“You will make a perfect boyfriend, baby boy.” I tap his shoulder, and we both giggle.

As I enter the car, I see the man’s back view. My jaw gapes open, he’s standing a few steps away from the car.

“Sis, what are you gazing at?” Lucas asks as he fixes his seatbelt.
