“What resemblance?”
“That man is not my man. He’s my younger brother!”
“What? Oh my…” he throws his hand over his mouth too as he joins me in laughing. “I’m sorry. I…” we break into another round laughter.
That’s what happens when you have a younger brother like Lucas. I’m sure Wayne is not the first person to mistake Lucas for the man I’m dating. It’s probably why I’m still single. Most men think Lucas is my boyfriend whenever they see us together.
“Your younger brother? Wow,” he gives me an inspective up to down look.
“I might look small, I’m older,” I blurt out.
“How old are you?” his face breaks into a huge grin.
“I’m 27, you?”
“I’m 32.”
I pause my eyes on his face, thoughts of how perfect we look together running through my mind.
I hope he’ll vocally express how he feels for me now that I’ve cleared the misconception.
I’m single, and I like him.

Today marks another one of my best days; I’ve not felt this amount of happiness in a long time. Sarah made it possible. She feels like the missing piece in my life – my source of happiness. She is different from all the women I’ve met. She’s funny, understanding, beautiful, and I want to love her.
We walk inside my cabin, and I shut the door behind us.
“Wow, this place is beautiful,” Sarah says, looking around slowly.
“Thank you,” I smile as I usher her inside.
“Woah! This is beautiful. I want to live here!” she exclaims, still looking around.
“Then let’s live here together. The hospital is only a few kilometers away from here. You can live here with me. I can drive you to the hospital every day too. If you want…”
When I say that, she looks up to face me. The look on her face is quite hard to decipher. I pause, waiting for her to speak.
“You should tell me how you feel first. I mean, you…” Sarah scoffs.
“Is it not clear enough?” I lean forward, my eyes directly piercing into hers.
“Do I still have to say it? You still cannot read it in here?” I look from her left eye to the right one.
“I can’t read it,” she says, smiling. “Tell me…”
I carry her and walk to my room. Without thinking twice, I drop her on the bed, lay beside her, and take her lips in my mouth.
She kisses me back with the same amount of passion.
I love her. I love her so much.
I have never felt this way in my entire life – the feeling of wanting to spend the rest of my life with a woman. It’s how I feel right now. Words are not enough to describe what I feel for her.
My hands begin to caress her thighs, hungrily. She moves her hand to my chest slowly, and I assist her as she unbuttons my shirt, hurriedly.
