My hand shakes as I take the bottle and drink a little bit. After a couple of minutes Christian goes back to the party and Cassey sits down next to me. I drink a bit more water and eventually the world stops spinning. I look around and realise I'm sat next to the door that leads outside. It's wedged open and by the sounds of things the storm has pretty much stopped. The cold air from outside helps clear my head a bit more. That's when the pain in my hand makes itself known and I realise my palm is bleeding. I must have landed on my bracelet. Sods Law.

I look over at Cassey and give her a questioning look. “How come you're fine?”

“I drove remember? I only had lemonade.” She motions to the water and I do as I'm told and finish the bottle.

The situation is usually the complete opposite. When I can get hold of mums' car, I'm usually the designated driver. That's one of the main reasons my alcohol tolerance is practically non-existent. Cassey drinks. I drive. Although I appreciate her driving this time, I think I'll drive in the future. Cassey can drink loads and be almost sober whereas I have one drink and I turn into jelly in a dress. I never wanna feel like this again! I've seen Cassey have enough hangovers in the past so I know I'm gonna feel worse in the morning. I groan and lean my head against the wall and Cassey giggles beside me.

The cool air from outside brushes against my skin again and I get up and go out the doors. I hear Cassey follow and see her check her phone in the corner of my eye. “It's late we should probably head home and get you in bed. Your gonna feel wonderful in the morning.” She giggles and I laugh back.

I'm actually feeling a lot better. I could feel the wind wrapping around me in a refreshing blanket and I'm feelingmore and more normal by the minuet. I close my eyes and let the feeling surround me pushing away the last of my drunken haze.

“Krista I'm gonna let Christian know we're making a move.”

“Okay Hun I'll wait for you out here. The cool air is working wonders for my head.”

“Yeah tell me about it. You're standing on your own and not even swaying! I'll be back in a sec.”

She disappears inside leaving me on my own. I take my phone out from my purse and text my mum saying we're heading home then start scrolling through Facebook out of habit.

I hear a rumble of thunder in the distance and the wind starts to pick up again. Looks like the storm is coming back for another round. The same buzz of energy is in the air and the tingle runs up my spine for what feels like the millionth time that day. I look around for the hooded figure knowing he must be out there somewhere. I don't know if I'm scared or intrigued by him. Either way I want to know what his problem is.

Light comes from the doors to the college but instead of Cassey, Nick comes out and makes a bee line straight for me. His walk is deliberate but his movements are sloppy as he stumbles towards me. “Hey s-sexy.” His words are slurred and I take a step back and put my hands out to stop him. “We nev-v-ver finished our dance.”

“I don't -” My words are cut off as he grabs my hands and pushes me hard up against the wall with my hands above my head. My breath is knocked out of me as his weight presses up against me. I try to kick him but he holds my legs still with his own. I try to wriggle out of his grip but he's everywhere. I can't move. His breath stinks and I turn my head away gasping for air.

He buries his head in my hair and starts kissing up my neck whilst grinding himself against me. I can feel his erectionpoking against my stomach and I struggle even more to get away from him.

“Get the fuck off me!!”

He lets out a deep moan before his mouth crushes mine. His tongue demanding entry into my mouth. I clamp my mouth shut and frantically try to turn my head away from him. He lets go of one of my hands and grabs my bottom jaw shoving my head against the hall. I cry out in pain and he uses the opportunity to invade my mouth. My screams are muffled and I desperately hit and scratch him with my one free hand but he doesn't notice it.

Tears start falling from my eyes as I reach a new level of panic. How has no-one heard me?! Where's Cassey?!

He continues to rub himself against me moaning into my mouth as he does.

I see something move in my peripheral vision and see a dark-haired guy that I don't recognise. He's just standing there watching as Nick forces himself on me. More tears fall as I stare at the stranger. Pleading with him to help me.

Nick lets go of my jaw and shoves his hand between my legs. I squeal in shock as he rubs at me through my dress.

Suddenly Nick's weight is gone as the stranger grabs him round the back of the neck and pulls him away from me. Nick crashes to the floor and glares up at my saviour. The stranger stares down at him.

“Enough.” His voice is quiet but stern.

Nick's demeanour instantly changes from hyped up to completely docile. He just looks at the dark-haired guy as if waiting for further instruction. His eyes look droopy and unfocused as he stares obediently at the guy standing between me and him.

I struggle to calm my racing heart and wipe the tears from my face. I straighten my dress and get a good look at the guythat helped me. That's when I notice his black hooded jacket and dark jeans. A shiver runs up and down my spine as I stare at him.

“It's you.” The words tumble from my mouth before I can stop them.

The guy turns to me with a smirk then looks back to Nick. “Go home. Forget everything from this evening.”

Instantly Nick gets up and starts walking off through the car park away from the college as if in a trance.

Forget everything? Does he mean that threateningly? As in never do it again or literally forget everything? How can he forget about trying to force himself on me? No, it must have been a threat.

I continue to watch Nick in disbelief as he zig-zags and stumbles through the car park.

“Are you OK?” His smooth voice breaks me out of my reverie and I turn to look at him. Getting a good look at his face for the first time. I have to look up as he's a lot taller than me.
