I yelped, thrashing as he lifted me clean off the sand. “Dex, don’t you dare?—”
Too late, his shadows tossed me into the ocean.
I hit the water with a gasp, the cool water swallowing me whole before I broke the surface with a groan. Dex’s wicked grin was the last thing I saw before Skel dove in after me, his hands wrapping around my waist and holding me up. “Gotcha, princess.”
“Skel needs kisses.” Bram summoned Chaos, who barreled into Skel, sending us both tumbling as Chaos chased after Skel, making him swim further away from me. “Whoops.” He smirked as he effortlessly tossed me over his shoulder. “You’re mine now, brat.”
“I’m not a toy!” I shrieked, pounding at his back before Reed’s hands slid over my hips, stealing me away from Bram.
“My turn, dream girl.” His voice was smooth, smug. His lips brushed against mine, lingering before he set me back on my feet in the shallows.
A second later, Hunter swooped in, his lips at my ear. “You know how we love to fight for you.”
I barely had time to gasp before he claimed my lips, his tongue slowly slipping into my mouth, making my knees weak.
Fates, they were amazing, and they were allmine.
“This is amazing,” Dex murmured as Hunter and I pulled apart, Dex’s fingers tracing patterns on my skin. “I still can’t believe we made it.”
“It wasn’t easy,” Skel added, glaring at Bram as Chaos dissipated.
“Nothing worth it ever is.” Reed’s lips quirked.
“And nobody died,” Hunter pointed out with ease.
Bram snorted. “For long.”
I laughed, tilting my head back. “Oh, have you guys heard the latest from Fester? Who saw that coming?”
Groans echoed around me.
“He mated Brimsworth,” Dex muttered, rubbing his temples. “Good for him, I guess. Better than Nightwind.”
“I know you all hate it, but Jenni and I still have a group chat with him,” I giggled. “He’s actually working at her restaurant as a chef.”
“I guess he did help us with the cult and stuff,” Reed grumbled.
“Once,” Bram corrected. “Barely.”
“True.”
“Jenni deals with this too, you know.” I rolled my eyes before grinning at them. “Dad and Joel have beenextraprotective lately with her.”
Dex cackled. “Well, yeah, trouble.”
“Sheispregnant with their baby,” Hunter murmured, his white gaze flicking to my flat stomach. “It makes me think about what you’ll look like pregnant with our baby.”
“Babies,” I corrected. “Twins.” My heart swelled with happiness.Siblings. I was getting siblings. “For now, I get to be a sister to babies,” I told them. “Someday, we’ll have a baby, too.”
“Babies,” the five of them corrected, and I giggled.
“Babies,” I agreed. “But not yet. Not now. I want to enjoy our lives for us for a bit longer.”
“And there’s nothing wrong with that,” Skel murmured, leaning over and stealing a kiss before I turned back to the guys, watching the way the firelight from our bonfire flickered against their skin.
We had plenty of time ahead of us to make a family.
Right now, we had this—freedom, love, and afuturewide open before us.
