"Titan and I have both led the demon army, so we will each be the head of the missions," I continued. "Viktor has to be at one of them, right?"
"I'm good with that." Titan nudged my shoulder with his.
Dad nodded, his crown jostling on top of his head. "I don't care what you have to do, just obliterate the bastard."
"If I may," Thaddeus interjected, forcing a hand through his messy hair. "Ravana was head of the facility in New York. We should assume there are heads at each facility with some power that's just as quirky as hers."
"Great point, mate." Blaise scrunched his nose. "Ravana's power was bloody gross."
The thought of her flesh moving like it had a mind of its own flashed through my mind. “It was fucking traumatizing.”
"Expect the worst," Aziel said, crossing his arms.
My gaze trailed down toward his abs. He still hadn't had a chance to get dressed, and Blaise was still in his boxers. I snapped my gaze toward Blaise's muscular thighs as well.
How were they this fucking attractive?
Blaise coughed, shifting on his feet as he shot me a glare.
I rubbed my eyes. "Fuck. So, when do we need to set out for the next mission?"
"As soon as possible," Dad answered.
"We need to recharge our energy. We'll sleep and feed tonight and be ready to go in the morning," Kai said.
"Who do you want on your team?" Titan asked.
"You choose. Choosing between them isn't easy for me." I bit down on my bottom lip as I stared at them.
“Disgusting.” Gabriel sneered, turning his head away.
“Oh, shut the fuck up,” I snapped. “You know harems are common in this world.”
His stoney expression softened just a fraction. “I never took a harem. One was all I ever needed.”
An unwelcome wisp of guilt threaded through me. “My heart needed more to feel complete.”
“Greed’s an ugly sin.”
“You found all sins ugly except for two.Pride and lust.” My gaze bore into his. “Hypocritical angel.”
His nostrils flared, and he took a step toward me. “How dare you—”
Aziel wrapped his arm around my waist, tugging me away from Gabriel. "I'm going with Lilith."
Titan shrugged. "You wouldn't be much use without her around, anyway. You’re best at protecting her during a battle rather than fighting one with no Lilith to protect."
Gabriel scoffed, and I sent him a scathing look.
"I'll take Thaddeus and Kai. You take Aziel and Blaise," Titan suggested.
"Go and rest. Tomorrow, we will split and attack the facilities." Dad stood. "Titan, Gabriel, I need to speak with you about a few things.”
Gabriel nodded, refusing to look my way.
Titan winked, and we left the throne room for our room.
I wonder what he had to talk to those two about.
