“Shit,” Thaddeus spat, raking a hand through his hair.
“Where is he now?” Blaise asked.
His nose scrunched. “I don’t know. Probably up in the office with a vampire named Ravana. She’s vile. Worse than Viktor, probably.”
“Ravana?” Kai’s shoulders tensed.
“Yes.”
“Bloody hell.” Blaise slapped his palm on his forehead.
Thaddeus avoided eye contact with me when I swept a confused gaze his way.
“Who the fuck is Ravana?” I placed my hands on my hips as an angry heat slithered through me.
Stupid fucking name.
Blaise snorted.
Kai scratched the nape of his neck. “It’s probably not the same vampire.”
Thaddeus grunted.
“There are few vampires named Ravana, mate. It’s probably the same one,” Blaise said.
“She asked who the fuck she was,” Aziel said, hand sliding behind my back.
Kai swallowed hard as his gaze finally met mine. “Can we talk about it later?”
I shrugged, shoving my undeserved jealousy down until I had an actual reason to show it. “Fine. But only because I already know I’m going to kill that bitch. Especially if she’s worse than Viktor.”
Mortala let out a steady breath. “She’s someone who needs to be obliterated. King Zelek’s orders. She’s a menace. She’s also gained some powers from new-bloods, so you need to be wary of her as well.”
Fan-fucking-tastic.
“Where’s the best location to infiltrate the warehouse?” Titan asked.
“There’s a fence around it with a hole. Teleport outside the fence, and sneak in through there. You can get into the building through a broken window in the back. The window is to a closet in the back where Viktor keeps the humans not yet turned,” Mortala explained.
We shared a look.
“Someone has to get the humans out while the others go find Viktor and Ravana.” I sighed. “I’m obviously going to be the one to take Viktor out, because I can use hellfire or turn him to ash.”
“No,” Thaddeus snapped. “You can subdue him, but one of us has to obliterate him.”
“Oh, shit. That’s right.Obliterating.” I pouted before sticking my tongue out at him. “Fine, go ahead then. But you have to teach me so I can do the next one.”
“Sure, love.”
“I need to get these back to King Zelek.” Mortala held up the paper bag. “Priamos and I won’t be at the warehouse. King Zelek pulled us from the mission. Viktor was getting suspicious of us.” He bowed and then disappeared as a group of people walked by.
“You ready for this?” Titan asked us, and we shared a collective grunt.
Bring it on, asshole.
The fence surrounding the warehouse was massive, and the hole Mortala told us about was small. I had slipped through it with no problem, but the guys struggled to get through. Thaddeus ripped the back of his shirt on the metal.
Once everyone was through, we scanned the back of the warehouse and came up empty. It looked desolate.
