His lips covered mine as he slid inside me again, building up a steady rhythm with his thrusts. My legs wound around him, and he pushed his tongue into my mouth, wrapping it around mine.

Warmth of his essence drizzled down my throat, and I moaned. He broke the kiss, skimming his lips over my jawline and toward my neck. The two pinpricks of his fangs pierced my skin, and the pain from his bite quickly turned to ecstasy as he sucked my blood. I clawed at his back as my orgasm tore into me, causing me to convulse underneath him at the same moment he growled out his release.

The sound of his growl echoed off the walls and down the hallways, and I smiled.

Pulling himself off me, he turned away, and my veins turned to ice.

Are you fucking kidding me?

“Don’t throw a wobbly, love.” Thaddeus went into his bathroom and returned with a towel. “I’m just going to clean you up.”

My body hummed with satisfaction, and I let my legs fall apart.

He wiped the soft cotton towel between my legs and on my inner thighs before tossing it in the hamper. He turned to me and met my gaze.

“Do the pixies still take care of cleaning?”

“I’d say so. The manor is spotless.” He shrugged, sitting back on the bed.

I grinned at him, enjoying the tilt of the bed now that he’s in it with me. “Are you as tired as I am?”

“Bloody knackered.” He turned his back toward me, and I scooted closer, wrapping my arms around him.

“Didn’t peg you for the little spoon,” I teased, kissing his shoulder blade.

“I’m full of surprises.” His voice was husky, and my eyes became heavy.

A soft smile spread across my lips. “I wasn’t expecting you to stay.”

He scoffed. “It’s my room.”

Thaddeus had attempted to open up to me, and I wasn’t going to let him close himself up. It’d be a long road, but I was confident he’d come around.

His warm hands clasped around mine, and I breathed in his scent. Thaddeus made me feel safe, and safety isn’t something I felt often.

The smell of fresh coffee brewing seeped into my nostrils, and my eyes fluttered open. Stretching out my limbs, I let out a yawn. Thaddeus wore me out more than my demon powers did.

Sitting up among the mess of blankets, I glanced around the empty room. It seemed like we’d been gone for a few hours. The others were going to worry about us if we didn’t get back to Hell soon.

I swung my legs over the edge of the bed, and my feet hit the plush carpet. My nerves were still buzzing in satisfaction from Thaddeus. He was fucking hot in bed...I mean; he was hot all the time, but he let his guard down when we had sex in a way he didn’t any other time.

Our juices were stuck to my naked body, and my skin was tight from it. I slipped into Thaddeus’s bathroom and used his shower to scrub off our remnants before I stole a shirt and boxers from his drawers.

I held the neckline of the black, oversized t-shirt close to my nose and inhaled his scent.

“Are you creepy or what?” a tiny voice said from behind me.

I whirled around, but nothing was there. “Excuse me?”

“Right here,” the voice said.

I blinked twice before realizing there was a small, human-like creature with beautiful wings flying in front of me. She was the size of my index finger.

My brows raised. “Are you one of the pixies I’ve been hearing so much about?”

She scoffed, tossing her golden hair behind her shoulder. “I’mthepixie, thank you very much. I’ve been cleaning this manor for years. Long before the Draven clan moved in.”

“Really? That’s impressive. I’m surprised you’re able to keep it clean all by yourself with the guys.”
