“They’re good eye candy, so I can’t complain too much. Plus, I love to clean.” She sighed dreamily. “The spirit realm gets boring a lot of the time, and pixie men aren’t as rough and edgy as this clan.”

Irritation spurred in my stomach. “Too bad they haven’t been around for you to ogle.”

“Don’t be jealous, Lilith,” she purred, flying closer to boop me on the nose. “I’m not only interested in them. You’re just as attractive. I’ve watched you in action, and the faces you make when you climax are beautiful.”

I huffed out a laugh, running a hand through my wet strands of hair.

Fucking pixies.

“You’ve been watching us?”

“Of course.” She flicked her pretty yellow wings, turning slightly to show them off. “I can only dream of what you get to experience withfourmen.”

I smirked. “It’s pretty fucking amazing.”

She glared. “Don’t rub it in!”

“Sorry!”

“Love, do you want—” Thaddeus stopped short when he opened the door to me and the Pixie talking.

She winked at me before fading back into the spirit realm.

“We’ve got an admirer.” I made my way toward Thaddeus, who had a mug of iced coffee in his hand.

A fucking mug of iced coffee.Somehow, I found that completely adorable.

“Oh, yeah? The pixie?” He handed it to me, and I took it with a grin.

“Thank you. And yes. She’s the one who’s been cleaning the manor.”

“Really?” He glanced around the room. “We should do something to thank her.”

I snorted. “She’s got her thanks.”

“What do you mean?”

“She’s been watching us have sex.” I stared at him before taking a sip of the coffee. The bitterness of strong coffee with no sweetener or blood covered my tongue, and I recoiled. “Fuck, that’s strong.”

“What?” His eyes widened. “She’s been...shit.”

I chuckled, holding the mug down in both hands. “She’s very impressed.”

“Bloody hell.” He rubbed his cheek, eyes darting around his room again before settling on the mug in my hands. “Did you like the coffee?”

“It’s fucking strong,” I said, taking another sip. “No wonder you always smell like coffee. I bet this shit seeps out of your pores for days.”

He chuckled. “Sorry, love. I know you like the sweet stuff, but I’m not sure how to make it.”

I glanced down and swirled the mug. The ice rattled against the porcelain, bouncing up and down in the dark roast. “It’s coffee that’s iced. I’m not complaining. I haven’t had an iced coffee since we’ve been in Hell.”

“No wonder you’ve been so cheeky.”

My chest squeezed. Peeping pixie or not, this manor had become my home. “Do you want to cook dinner before we leave? We can bring the guys up here when we finish and eat together again?”

He raked a hand through his long dark hair, and a small smile pulled at the corner of his lips. “I’d like that, love.”

We got to work on dinner. Thaddeus threw together some chicken and pepper mixture in the frying pan while I made rice. We cooked next to each other, our shoulders brushing every now and then.
