Gabriel pressed his palm against my forehead as Titan got up and came over to place his palm over Gabriel’s. Kai still had his chest against my back, offering comfort I knew I needed.

A gray light emitted from their hands, and a zing went through my forehead and trickled to my hands. They pulled back, and I held my hands in front of me. They looked the same, but there was a strange buzzing in them.

“You have the power of obliteration. It’s something only given when an angel and a demon work together, but something tells me you won’t need it,” Titan said.

“You’re officially part of the Draven clan. You may leave the same way you came.” Gabriel dismissed us with a wave of a hand.

“We’ll be in touch, Lilith.” Titan gave a small smile at the corner of his lips.

The guys didn’t waste any time ushering me away from the Order and back home.

“We fucking did it!” I screamed at the top of my lungs as we walked through the front door of the manor.

Jax jumped into my arms as soon as we shut the door, and I snuggled him close.

“He seems to know everything that’s going on,” Kai said as he kicked off his shoes.

“Yes. He’s the absolute best.” I kissed his nose and sat him back on the floor.

“Meow!” He swished his tail back and forth as he pranced away.

Blaise grabbed my waist and jerked me into his arms. “I’m so bloody glad you’re safe.”

Thaddeus pressed a kiss to the side of my head. “You worried me for a minute there.”

“What you accomplished was no small feat,” Kai said, untangling me from Blaise and pulling me into a tender embrace.

I’d missed being in Kai’s arms. It felt like I hadn’t spent enough time with him with everything going on.

“Why don’t we celebrate?” I asked, inhaling Kai’s scent. “Vampires can get drunk, right?”

Blaise shot me a wicked smirk. “Hell yeah, let’s get plastered, I’ll grab the booze.”

“It’s even better when we lace it with blood,” Kai whispered into my ear.

“B Positive?”

“Anything for you.” He moved to kiss my lips.

“I’m proper knackered,” Thaddeus said. “If you need anything, I’ll be in my room.”

“Oh no, you don’t.” I grabbed his hand. “Please, Thaddeus? Go back to sulky Thaddeus tomorrow.”

He swallowed, his Adam’s apple bobbing. “I can’t.”

“You can!” I tried a puppy dog look that I hoped could convince him.

He sighed. “I’ll stay, but I’m not drinking.”

I pouted. “Party pooper.”

He rolled his eyes, and we relocated to the living room where Blaise had set out all the blood and liquor we could want.

I grabbed three glasses with ice and eyed Thaddeus. “Are you sure you don’t want one?”

“I’m fine with blood, thanks.” He grabbed a blood bag and poured it into the other glass.

“Suit yourself.”
