“The very best,” she answered.
“I wish I could see yours,” Philip murmured as he tucked a curl behind her ear.
“They are likely the same,” she admitted.
Philip grinned, right before he kissed her again and it wasn’t long before she was lost in a sea of sensations. He didn’t even touch her anywhere else, just cradled her face in his hands and kissed.
Chapter Twenty-Five
“Orion, go get one of our mothers,” Stefanos called.
Philip pulled away from kissing Antonia at the sound of his brother’s panicked voice.
“Tell them Philip and Lady Antonia are under another spell.”
His heart nearly stopped.
Not again. He was bloody sick of them.
How could Stefanos even know if they were?
“Spell?” Antonia asked in confusion.
Philip moved to take a step away from her because they were standing rather close, but he could not. Something was holding him in place and when he looked down, panic nearly overcame him. “What is happening?”
Antonia was also looking at the vines that had sprouted from the ground and wound their way around their legs, up to the hips, nearly to her waist, and had bloomed some of the most vibrant blossoms that he had ever seen. How could he not have known this was happening?
“What kind this time?” Orion asked as he stepped through the bushes. When he saw Philip, Orion started to laugh but covered it with a cough. “Go tell your mother what you saw. I will help them out of this.”
“What caused this?” Stefanos asked.
He shrugged. “It just happens sometimes. I heard it even happened to Damon once and there is nothing to worry about.”
“Are you certain?” Stefanos asked anxiously.
“Yes,” Orion dismissed. “Just go tell your mother that Philip and Lady Antonia are wrapped in flowering vines. I promise that she will not be concerned.”
Stefanos ran off and Orion just stood there, arms crossed over his chest.
“Are you going to help us?” Philip demanded.
He shrugged. “Maybe.”
“Did this really happen to Damon?” Philip asked.
Orion looked around as if he wanted to make certain nobody was about. “And to Pierce, and to me.”
“Why?” Antonia cried.
This time Orion laughed.
“This is not funny. We can hardly move.”
“Yes, well, we weren’t covered nearly as much.”
“Kissing caused this?” Antonia nearly screeched.
“I assume this is the first time he has kissed you, and quite involved at that, given the flowers.”
