Chapter 12

Liam

He knew he was insane. After all, he had a plane to catch in just another hour.I have avery importantmeeting tonight. An entire startup hung in the balance. Dozens of jobs, plenty of the employees still reeling from other layoffs and desperate for this position to pan out, were counting on Liam not to fuck it up.

So, it was the perfect time for him to be balls deep in an escort. In a cabana. Right on the beach.Atright past lunch.

The throes of passion were not a good time for self-reflection. And, indeed, Liam was in no position to analyze why he thought this was a profoundly good use of his time. He had plenty of warning that he had to leave early on Sunday. Honestly, too early to properly enjoy the company of a Butterfly like her, but how was he to know he’d meet the woman of his dreams at La Mariposa, of all places? The island where anonymity and spontaneous interaction were the name of the game?

It was more important to him to spend this extra time with Brim than to check out of the hotel and make it to his flight on the main island with plenty of padding. While he could always leave Monday with most of the other guests, damnit, that meeting was important.

Butthiswas important, too…

He had been up at nine, ordering breakfast to his room so he could shower, pack, and ensure nothing was left in his room. As soon as it was noon, he claimed the private cabana where he had hung out the night before and waited for Brim’s magnanimous arrival. At 12:25, she arrived wearing nothing but a bikini and a sheer cover that left so little to the imagination, especially if a man was already intimately familiar with her body. He had apologized for how quick this had to be, but Brim claimed to understand. She was in the cabana, and he was on top of her before they had the chance to have a conversation.

I just saw her twelve hours ago.It should have been enough. Fucking her twice that weekend should have been enough, but here he was, going a third time (and a half, if he were honest with himself) round with the kind of woman he had been waiting his whole life to meet.

That was the toughest part, wasn’t it? After that hour, he would never see her again. Even if they both returned to La Mariposa in the future, there was no guarantee they would be there during the same season. Or that they would have the same attraction to one another.

“There should be more women like you back home,” he muttered right into her ear before entering her from behind. Neither of them had removed their clothing because there was no point. They had both dressed for this moment, him in his beach shorts and overshirt, and her in her barely-there bikini. He barely had to move any clothing to get inside her.

And when he was? He didn’t think about anything else. Not the island. Not the flight home. Definitely not the stupid meeting waiting for him at the end of the day. All he knew, besides the fluttering cabana curtains and the warm breeze on his face, was the hot, welcoming recesses of Brim’s body as it wrapped around his cock and offered itself up for grabbing.

She was a living, breathing inferno that threatened to melt his very bones. He slid home with a single, powerful thrust. Her body bucked, pressing the curve of her ass against his hips. It was a personal invitation formore.More of this, of him, of the raw, animalistic fucking that obliterated everything else that mattered in their lives.

Everything else. The phrase echoed in the sudden, terrifying void left in his brain. The clock was ticking. Somewhere, a plane was being fueled, a car was waiting, and a conference room was being prepared. His life hurtled forward without him. And he was here, buried to the hilt in a woman who was paid to pretend she wanted this.

Pretend.

The word was a shard of ice in that furnace he embraced. He saw it in her face, the way she glanced at the cabana curtains, the professional, understanding nod when he apologized for the rush. This was a transaction.A transaction. A goddamn transaction. He was paying for this feeling, this moment of oblivion. He was a client, and she was… what? Aprovider?

How did this place work, really? How were these women recruited? Did they really want to be doing this? Were they justso goodthat they made any man feel like he was the king of the world while they bounced on his dick and screamed how good it felt?

He shouldn’t be doing this to himself. He should be having fun. No strings attached fun.

“Come here.” Liam pulled out, hand on his shaft as he urged Brim to turn around and face him. “Fuck, yes.” Her lips parted, and just like the night before, she began sucking him off without invitation. “So insane. So damn good.”

Her big eyes were locked on his. He didn't have a monopoly on it. He knew that. He was one of twenty men who had graced La Mariposa that weekend. One of twenty who might have had this woman's attention. Some other guy definitely has. That alone should have turned him off. Yet, when she gazed up at him with her lips wrapped around his cock, he wasn’t jealous.

He was appreciative.

Appreciation that of all the men on this island who could have had her this afternoon, she was looking at him like he was the center of her universe. He knew it was a lie. A fantasy forhim. But right now, with her perfect tits spilling out of her bikini top and his cock between her lips, it was a lie he was desperate to believe while on the cusp of coming in her mouth.

“You like blowing me like this, huh?” The words were out of his mouth before he could think. Which was part of the problem. There wasn’tmuchcoherent thinking right now. “You keep coming back to it.”

She pulled back, her hand remaining on his shaft. “Is that a problem?”

“It’s the opposite of a problem.”

Brim grinned. “Do I like blowing you like this?” she asked, voice husky. “I love it. I love how you feel in my mouth. I love how hard you get for me. And I especially love that look on your face right now.”

She took him back in, deeper this time, her lips brushing against the base of his shaft. He groaned, his head falling back. The clock was still ticking, but its sound was muffled now, drowned out by the sounds of her mouth and the frantic pounding of his own heart. Every blood vessel in Liam’s bodybegged for release while his brain recognized that the sooner this ended, the sooner he had to leave.

He didn’t want it to end like this.

Liam pulled away from her, breaking the spell of her mouth. He wasn't going to let this end with him coming down her throat in a frantic rush like the night before. He wasn't going to let this be a pit stop before he re-joined the real world. He needed to bewithher.

He hooked his hands under her arms, his grip firm, and hauled her up from her knees. She gasped, a small sound of surprise that quickly melted into an anticipating hum. She hadn’t expected this, but shelikedit.
