Once Patrick had explained everything in that calm and confident manner he had, Gregory upped and left to speak with Oscar. This got cheers from all of them. Looked like it was going to be a Happy New Year for them as well as Jason.

He looked at Patrick talking to Sebastian, and his heart thudded. It hit him like a thunderbolt. The emotion was almost too overwhelming, but in a good way. Jason felt something he never thought he’d feel again: he was in love.

CHAPTER 11

JASON

The first week back at work had been stressful as fuck. Getting dicked down on the regular by Patrick’s thick cock had made it easier to slog through to Friday, though, and now he was at one of his favourite places – brunch at KC’s with his brothers.

“How’s the new boss?” asked Gregory.

“An arrogant twat, if I’m being honest,” replied Jason.

His new boss, Simon Woods, was a complete arsehole. Jason could get on with anyone, but Simon pushed all his buttons, and not in a good way.

“What do you mean?” asked Gregory.

“He keeps asking loads of questions.”

“Isn’t he supposed to do that in his first week?”

“Yeah, but it’s the way he asks them. It’s like he’s questioning everything we’ve ever done and saying it’s shit.”

“Has he said that?”

“No, but I can tell.”

Charlie and Langdon stifled a laugh.

“What?” snapped Jason, glaring at them.

“You’re not a big fan of change. Maybe give the guy a chance,” said Charlie.

“You’re being far too reasonable.”

“Maybe it’s his way of flirting,” said Langdon with a teasing grin.

“My hole is more than happy with Patrick’s girth, thank you.”

“I asked for that one,” said Langdon, pushing his plate away.

The others laughed.

“What do I do?” Jason whined.

“It’s his first week, and it’s a big job. He’ll have a lot of pressure on his shoulders to prove himself. Perhaps just give him the benefit of the doubt and see what he’s like next week,” said Paolo.

“Ugh, that’s far too logical.”

“I thought you said he was a DILF,” said Charlie. “Doesn’t that get him a pass?”

Jason snorted. His friends knew him too well. “Yes, he’s hot as fuck, but like I said, Patrick–”

“Yes,girth, we got it!”

“Is your new boss even on our bus?”

“Oh yeah, he’s definitely part of the alphabet mafia. Got an ex-husband and everything.”
