That phone call, her talk with Grant, the show and tell? God, I can’t stop crying. I knew it was going to be bad when I saw the commercials for this episode, but for once, they downplayed it. They all deserve so much happiness. I hope Ariana doesn’t stand in her own way.

That moment between Grant and Ariana had my heart about to explode. I cannot get over how he looks at her.

Oh my god, have you seen the fan edit of Grant and Ivan when Ariana made that pegging joke? I swear it’s going platinum in my house.

Knot What You Expected

EPISODE SIX

Bridgette: Well, Tuesday’s episode had a different tone than last week’s, that’s for sure.

Bradley: It really did. I felt like we finally got to know everyone and see their relationships forming. Even though Derrick left, that phone call made it feel like he was still there.

Bridgette: I had no idea what to expect when I learned they’d get to talk on the phone, but I am so glad they were given that opportunity. I think they both needed to get those things off their chests, and I doubt they would’ve been able to have that conversation face-to-face.

Bradley: It was pretty mean of us to end the episode right when the call got to the good part.

Bridgette: I think our viewers will forgive us. Iwonder what Ariana is going to tell Ivan and Grant about what happened on that call.

Bradley: Let’s find out.

Chapter Twenty-Five

I dropmy suitcase on the floor of the generically decorated living room.

Everything has happened very fast, but apparently, I can get a lot accomplished in a day when I’m appropriately motivated.

And hearing Ariana tell me she loved me? That is the ultimate motivator.

As soon as we hung up last night, after she stumbled over an awkward goodnight without giving me the chance to reply to her declaration, I booked a plane ticket.

And I emailed my clinic and quit my job.

And I booked a vacation rental.

Florida is a great place to start over.

It wasn’t the first time she’d said she loved me. But it was the first time it was said without frustration, without qualifiers.

Without calling me Sax.

How was I going to stay in Virginia, knowing that she loves me?

Moving to Florida was the only option.

I’ve only been here a few minutes when there is a knock on the door.

“Sax.” Ariana’s best friend, Marlie, stands on the stoop with her fists on her hips. “As I live and breathe.”

It wasn’t hard to get her contact information. All I had to do was join Ariana’s chat server, reach out to a few of her friends, tell them I was planning a surprise for her, and I needed Marlie’s help, but lost my phone and didn’t have her number.

They didn’t have it, but they did havehergamer tag. Once I reached out to her, she didn’t hesitate to agree to a phone call.

She was shocked when she learned that I was already out of the house and Ariana wasn’t. I bet it violated my NDA to tell her anything, but oh well.
