None of them had admitted shit to me. Of course.
So, being a biker princess had its drawbacks. The protection bit? I loved that I had a shadow. Just not that I lost my freedom in the process.
It had grown cold out, and the wind was brutal, dropping the temperatures to below zero. My teeth chattered as I buckled my seatbelt, checking out the window for Rev.
After he finished my tattoo, Rev suggested he follow me home. A storm was approaching, and the town had already grown quiet. I parked in the garage and let Revenant in, walking into the kitchen. My arm was aching, sore, and felt bruised. It stung on occasion and bumped against the fabric of my shirt.
“Hey, Rev, I’m going upstairs to change. The fabric rubbing this new ink is no fun.”
“Yeah, do that. Leave it bare. You need anything?” His brows drew together in concern.
I shook my head. “I’ll be fine.”
“You hungry?”
“Actually, yes.”
“How about I raid your fridge and find something to cook? I bet Void is hungry.”
What was he doing? Cooking for all of us, like . . . wait.
Was this about all of us fucking at the clubhouse? Because I wasn’t a club bunny looking to snag a member.
He kept his focus on the fridge, avoiding my direct line of sight.
“Diesel will be when he shows up.”
“Yeah,” Revenant agreed.
Ah, so this was sort of planned. Okay. We could see how it went. I certainly wasn’t opposed to more orgasms with my bikers.
Shit. It wasn’t like that. They weren’t mine.
Did I want them to be? Well, yes.
I stepped close to kiss Rev’s cheek. “Thank you.”
“Of course, B. B.”
“You’re going to tell me what that means soon.”
He snorted. “Maybe.”
I rushed up the stairs, flinging off clothing on the way to the bathroom. If I was going to have Rev and Diesel between my legs all night, I needed a hot shower and to shave. I didn’t mean totake as long as I did, lingering under the waterfall showerhead and enjoying the hot water on my skin.
By the time I had applied lotion, freshened my makeup, and changed into a comfy outfit with a matching pink shirt and lounge pants, I realized I had been up here for an hour. Below me, I could hear voices. Three, to be exact.
They weren’t quiet or hiding their conversation.
“What did Hades say?” Rev asked. He sounded worried.
“Nothing changes. Plan stays the same,” Diesel answered.
What plan? Club business?
“We should tell her,” Void announced.
“Tell her what?” Rev asked. Now he sounded agitated.
