I turn my head to the sofas, to see my girl is curled up on one of them, my sister sat next to her. They are laughing about who fucking knows what, but fucking hell it makes my heart swell. She's gorgeous, but when she smiles, she's like a goddamn goddess.

"Did you tell her?" Prez asks as he takes the stool next to me.

"Yes," I respond without taking my eyes off her. "I didn't give her the details of course; I just told her they were dead."

"And how did she take it?" he asks. He cares about her, they all do, so he wants to know how she took the news that we’d grabbed the two officers who tried to rape her. He wants to know how she took the news that we’d killed them. It’s not often we're honest with people, but she isn't an outsider. I've already tried to claim her once, and if Blades hadn’t of objected, she would be mine. It’s only a matter of time before it's official.

It was Wrath’s idea to tell her, he said that being honest with her about what happened will give her closure. It will help put her at ease knowing she doesn't have to worry about people coming after her. I wasn't so sure, I have that fear that she'll walk away if she knows what I'm capable of.

I turn to look at Prez. "Better than I thought she would. The relief on her face was evident. Especially when I told her that we were going after her uncle."

He laughs and grabs the two bottles of beer that have been placed on the bar behind us, handing me one. "Told you she was tough. You've got nothing to worry about with her. You ready to bring it back to the table?" he asks me casually.

"What if he doesn't approve again? Two rounds and it's a permanent no," I say. My head turns to Blades, he has a club whore sitting on his lap, her head tipped back in pleasure from the movements of his fingers inside of her shorts. I shake my head, the brothers have been asked to use the rooms for fucking when we have people here. It pisses me off that he's disobeying an order. I don't want Nova or Mason to see this. Before I have a chance to move, I see Tongue and Gears heading his way, and I relax knowing they'll move them to the private rooms down the corridor.

"I can't lose her, Prez. I won't. I love this club, being a part of it, my brothers, the girls, the family. But I'd give it all up if staying meant I'd lose her." I turn to look at him. "I'm sorry, Prez, I love you and the brothers, but she's everything to me."

He places his hand on my arm, stopping me from talking. "I know, brother. I understand. You won't have to give up the club, it will be approved. I won't lose you. Trust me." It wasn't a question, he's letting me know he has my back no matter what.

"CHURCH," Nitro yells over the music. Brothers nod and make their way over to our meeting room. He pats me on the arm. "Let’s go. Come claim your girl, Ice." He doesn't wait for me to respond, just grabs his beer and slides off the stool before heading into Church.

I grab my beer and make my way over to the sofas. She sees me coming and grins. I lean over the back of the sofa and pull her toward me, crashing my lips to hers, my tongue pushing through with ease. There's no hesitation from her, she reciprocates the kiss, her hand reaching up and cupping my cheek as her tongue tangles with mine, fighting for control.

"Get a room," my sister calls out, and it has us pulling apart. I smile down at my girl, place a kiss on the tip of her nose, and pull back. "I'll be right back, Dragonfly." I give her a wink, then mess up my sister’s hair before turning and heading into Church.

Prez slams the gavel on the table and the chat stops as I take my usual seat.

"Brothers, this won't take long, we only have one order of business then you can all go back to your drinking and the women. Ice." Prez gives me the nod to bring it to the table.

Nerves bubble up inside of me. This did not go well the last time I did this. If I don't get a full table of yays, things will be very different for me. "I think you all know what I'm gonna say." I turn toward Blades. "I understand your reasons the last time, but I need you to understand how much I love that woman. She’s my world, I'll do anything for her." I take a drink of my beer, trying to wet my mouth. "I'll change my life for her. I'm claiming Nova."

"You have my yes, brother," Nitro tells me with a smile.

"You already know I've said yes," Wrath says with a smile.

Before anyone else has a chance to answer, something smashing through the main gates has us all jumping from our seats and heading for the main entrance. Before we all have a chance to make it through the door, an explosion rocks the front of the building.

Bursting through the Church doors, the main room is filled with smoke. I see flames at the entrance where the doors used to be and a van now sits.

I scan the room. Mason is still in the back corner, Marissa hanging on to him as he sobs into her chest. Brothers, club girls, and family members are hurt and in shock. Blood soaks the floor from unknown injuries from just about everyone in here.

I push tables out of the way, stopping to pick up brothers, giving them a quick check over before moving them on to help with the others. I need to get to my girl and my sister. As I get closer to the sofas, I see Georgia pushing herself off the floor, her left arm holding her right.

"G, you, okay?" I race over and help her up. "G, talk to me."

"I'm fine, think I just twisted my wrist trying to stop myself from falling. What the fuck happened?" she asks me as she scans the room, her face turning pale when she sees the carnage.

"Looks like a van crashed through the gate and main doors. Where's Nova?" I ask as my head swivels around, looking for her. She should be right here.

"She shouted for Mason and headed over there after the first bang," Georgia tells me. We both turn in the direction of Mason and Marissa. Wrath is with them as she talks at him, waving her arms animatedly. My stomach drops when I see her pointing in my direction then toward the door. Wrath says something to her and races toward me.

"PREZ," he hollers at Nitro and then waves him toward us. As he stops in front of us, he reaches for my sister. "Georgia, you, okay?" he asks her.

She nods as Nitro reaches us, grabbing her wrist. She pulls it from him. "I'm fine, it's nothing."

"Georgia, go to my woman and Mason and stay there, please," Wrath snaps at her. If it wasn't for the grave look on his face, I'd have a go at him for speaking to her like that. She must see it too, because she doesn't say anything, she just gives him a nod and quickly races over to Marissa.

"VP?" I question.
