Jaxom
It wasn’t my intention to be alone with the clan’s new omega, and yet, here I was, with Seth beside me, trying to help her get her nest established. Unfortunately, Alpha Luca had to call his brother about our plans changing and had left the two of us in charge of caring for Elara.
After spending the whole morning shopping, paired with the items we had left in Alpha Luca’s cabin, our clan’s omega should never be able to go without. If somehow I’ve failed and she requires something, I shall order it and make sure it will arrive at our new seasonal house at the resort.
Planet Tera was known for its rich jungles, fabulous beaches, and it was quickly becoming a hub for trading. So it was wise for the clan to agree on such a location. As a result, we could make more deals on behalf of the company and provide Elara with exotic items from all over the galaxy.
A part of me was excited to see what goods would be freely available so that I could keep both our vessel and the resort house in stock.
I was in charge of the crew’s inventory, but I would’ve thought I would be required to aid an omega in preparing her nest. Most of the population were betas, and it was an honor even to be invited to become a plaything for an omega at their time of heat. And yet, here I was with another beta in the crew, trying to get this nest perfect for our omega without our alpha.
Was he purposely avoiding this task?
“This shade of purple doesn’t go well with the green color of my bedding,” Elara complained as she stood before her nest wearing nothing but an oversized white dress shirt that belonged to our alpha. “Do you have anything else?”
“I have royal purple and lavender,” I replied, glancing up from the vessel’s manifest on my tablet. “There is also sky blue and turquoise in the storage bay.”
“All of the options sound appealing.” She picked up the offending violet pillow and tossed it to Seth. “I don’t need this.”
“What-t-t do you need?” Seth stammered.
“Honestly, I need a nice cock in me.” Elara frowned as her needy sweet aroma thickened within the room. “But I can wait. My body hasn’t gone into heat, and I won’t be able to sleep until this isn’t perfect.”
Seth glanced at me with his mouth agape and eyes wide in shock.
It would take a while for me to get used to having her within the clan. But, with the amount of forwardness she had, no one would need to guess what she ever needed.
“Seth, could you go grab those pillows for Elara?” I jolted down the location of the items and sent them to Seth’s wristband. “I will continue to work on determining what she needs.”
“No problem,” he replied as he turned to address Elara with the offending pillow under his arm. ”Is there anything else you want while I am away?”
“Not at the moment.” She reached over and snatched the pillow from Seth. “I know the perfect location for this.”
Seth gave me a confused look and mouthed, ‘what the fuck?’
Shaking my head, I shrugged, not knowing what the Stars I was supposed to do other than read off what we had available, what I could order, and take away any offending pieces she didn’t want in it.
Elara raced to the oversized bean bag chair next to the window and placed the pillow on it.
“There!” she announced, excited by her discovery. “It’s perfect.”
“Do you still want Seth to gather the pillows from the storage bay?” I hedged, not wanting to upset her accidentally. “Or is there something else you would rather have?”
“Of course I want those pillows!” She replied. The tone of her voice sounded as if I had accidentally offended her. “They are for my nest, not my bean bag chair.”
She walked to her nest and dramatically fell backward in it. If it weren’t for the fact that she was giggling and sounding like she was having a good time, I would’ve thought that something was wrong.
Omegas acted like four-year-olds. Capable of doing stuff by themselves but dramatic whenever they believe they had a show.
And currently, Elara had a show between Seth and me.
She rolled onto her stomach and took in a deep whiff of her nest.
“I need more scents.”
“What do you mean?” I lifted my tablet’s pen from its screen as I tried to piece together what she had meant. “Do you need candles? Popery?”
“No,” she mumbled. “I think I need a pair of socks from every crew member.”
