I’d always known that Cole Remington was stupidly attractive, but I hadn’t known that he looked like a Greek god when he was nearly naked.

Stop ogling the man, Lauren!

God, I tried. I really did try, but my mouth had gone dry and my eyes couldn’t get enough of his hot body.

Cole was completely ripped, from his shoulders and biceps to his six-pack abs, then down to his muscular legs.

My breath caught, and I swallowed the lump in my throat.

And then, something happened to me that had never happened before.

It took me a few heartbeats to realize that the heat that was flowing over my body and currently eating at my insides was pure, unadulterated…lust.

I’dneverfelt this kind of raw need to touch a guy like I wanted to touch Cole right now.

The two of us barely knew each other.

I was mortified and intrigued at the same time.

My eyes finally settled on his forearm, where he was sporting a riveting tattoo of a soaring hawk that looked so lifelike that I desperately wanted to stroke my fingers over the work of art.

“Nice…tat,” I finally commented awkwardly.

My eyes snapped up to his face when he sat down on his side of the bed and held a mug out to me.

The last thing I wanted was to get caught staring at Cole like I’d been fasting for weeks and he was a gourmet meal.

I was in his house.

I was in his bed.

The man was still sick with the flu.

If he wanted to walk around half naked, I could hardly complain about that choice.

He lifted a brow. “You didn’t answer my question.”

I reached for the mug. “Question?” I asked breathlessly.

“I asked if you like a good latte.”

I willed my heart to slow down as I reached for the mug. It was pounding so hard that I almost felt like he could hear it.

I took a deep breath and kept my eyes glued to his face as I answered, “I love them, but I try to stay away from the extra calories.”

To me, a good latte included plenty of milk and sugar.

I watched as he took a sip of what looked like black coffee.

“Why?” he asked after he swallowed.

I closed my eyes as I had a sip of my latte.

It was delicious. Sweet, frothy, and smooth, just the way I liked it.

I’d seen the fancy coffee maker in the kitchen the night before.

Cole obviously had a weakness for good coffee.
