“I do too. Let’s not label anything,” I tell him.

“Thank you. You’re the best.”

“I know. Don’t forget it,” I tell him as we step out of the van.

“Oh, hey,” Blake says, pushing himself away from Charlotte as if we hadn’t busted them making out. “Did you guys have a good day?”

“Yeah, it was great. Charlotte, babe, you might want to touch up your makeup before heading inside. You have a nasty case of beard rash on your face.” I smirk. She looks panicked, as does Blake, as she quickly pulls out her concealer from her purse and looks in the mirror.

“Shit,” she curses as she madly tries to cover it up. “You’re not going to say anything, are you?”

“Never. Your secret is safe with me,” I tell them, then look over at Chance and hope he knows those words are for him too.

“Come on, let’s go inside,” Charlotte says, having fixed up her face.

We head into the hotel and up to the guys’ suite. As we walk in, Christian and Evan are lounging around in the living room having beers, and I hear Evan talking about my girl.

Fuck, man, you’re having a baby,” Christian says, not noticing us walk in.

“Sienna’s pregnant?” Chance whispers. I nod and look over at Charlotte, who is shocked.

“I’ve fucked up with Sienna, man. I told her we were going to get married and be a family, that she was going to live in LA with me. I thought we wanted the same things.”

Sienna called me in tears after Evan left and told me what had happened between them. I can’t believe after everything he did to my friend, he had the audacity to tell her she was going to marry him and live in LA as if she had no choice. Yes, he is worth more, but Sienna isn’t broke, she doesn’t need a man to survive.

“Seriously, are you fucking stupid?” I say, walking into the room, unable to control my temper.

“I’m going to be an aunty?” Charlotte screams, rushing in before she notices the ultrasound in her brother’s hand. Chance and Blake congratulate Evan, but I hold my tongue.

“I can’t believe after everything you put her through, Evan, you would demand those things,” I tell him.

“WhatIput her through? She’s the one who was caught with her ex, not me,” Evan yells at me.

“Sienna could have died, and you’re still going on about how your damn fucking ego has been bruised.”

“Derrick, back the fuck off, bro. That’s not cool,” Christian says.

Fuck you and your boys club. “No, Christian, he broke Sienna’s heart. She was heartbroken when he threw her out of his room that day as if she were nothing more than garbage. She loves you, Evan. She loves you so fucking much and wanted to put her past to rest so you could build a future together. Instead, you kicked her out, then probably went on to fuck a million groupies just to make yourself feel better. Sienna can’t function, Evan. She’s heartbroken over you,” I scream at him.

“Derrick,” Chance says, pulling me out of the room and away from Evan to cool down. I’m this close to punching him for what he did to Sienna.

“He treated her like trash, Chance. He didn’t give two shits about her, and now suddenly he does,” I argue with him.

“She’s having his baby.”

“I know.”

“That changes things, don’t you think?” Chance asks. I give him bombastic side-eye because I don’t like it when people are right.

“How is she going to trust him?”

“That’s for her to work out,” Chance states.

“Fuck you and your wise words,” I say, huffing, which makes him laugh.

“You’re so cute when you’re angry.” Chance grins.

“No, I’m not.” I stomp like a two-year-old. “I’m fucking handsome.”
