Oscar and Stacey are going well, living and working together, basically living their normal, kinky life. I stopped asking questions because the two of them are kind of boring. They go to the club, have fun, and then come home and have fun with each other.
Sienna and Evan found out they are having another boy, which, of course, Evan is happy about. His vision of a football team is slowly coming to life, and Sienna is counting down the days till the baby is out of her. But we all know Evan is going to knock her up again as soon as humanly possible.
And Christian and Vanessa are gearing up for the twins’ arrival. I pray for them every day because they are going to have their hands full with those two little girls.
Vanessa and Christian have gone to the hospital today to have their babies. I’m hanging out at Sienna and Evan’s place becausehow the hell can I work today, knowing I’m about to become an uncle again?
“I’m so nervous for her, the little one is doing somersaults in my stomach.” Sienna groans, grabbing her moving belly.
“He’s a lady killer like his father, and can’t wait to see his new girlfriends.” I chuckle.
“Vanessa and Sienna already have our kids married off. Don’t tell me you’re all for this idea.” Evan moans.
“Wouldn’t that be cute?” I ask him.
“Can you imagine Christian and me as fathers-in-law?” Evan asks.
“Totally, but it’s X-rated.”
Evan throws a pillow at me, making me squeal when it hits me in the face. Guess I deserved that.
“I think it would be sweet. Ness and I as grandparents together,” Sienna says, getting lost in the fantasy.
“They could end up hating each other,” Evan adds.
“Oh, enemy to lovers, hot,” I tease.
Evan shakes his head at me.
Our phones buzz, and it’s from Christian. The girls are here, and he’s sent through photos and told us we can come up in a couple of hours to visit them.
Uncle Derrick is on his way.
We have a huge bouquet of flowers for Vanessa as we enter the hospital via the VIP entrance, so as not to alert the paparazzi, who are desperate for the news about the twins. Ness looks exhausted but deliriously happy as does Christian, who is prancing around like he did something extraordinary today, not that all his contribution to it all was a pump and dump.
“Congrats,” I squeal, rushing over, placing the vase of flowers beside her before embracing my friend.
“I did it, D. They are here,” Vanessa says, tearing up.
“I’m so proud of you. You’re a fucking warrior,” I tell her, pressing my forehead against her own.
“I can’t believe they are here. They are fricken perfect.”
“Of course they are, look at who their parents are.” Trying to contain my own emotions, I fail miserably.
“Derrick!” Christian sees me and rushes over and hugs me. “I’m a daddy,” he says excitedly.
“You’ve always been a daddy to me,” I tease, making him laugh. “Show me these gorgeous little poppets.” He proudly takes me over to where the two little cherubs are lying asleep. They are all pink and squishy, and I just want to eat them.
“Did you want to hold one?” Christian asks.
“Can I?”
“Of course, you’re Uncle Derrick,” he says, and boom crash, there goes my heart. Christian picks up one of the twins, not sure who, and hands her to me, she is so tiny in my arms. I didn’t think I could love anything as much as I love Ryder, but I do. My heart is full.
“Hey there, little one. I’m your Uncle Derrick, and I am going to take you shopping, and we are going to get our nails done, and you are going to come to me with all your problems, and I’m not going to tell Mum and Dad. Your secrets are safe with me,” I whisper to her.
“Are you corrupting our girls already?” Vanessa teases.
