The next morning, standing in the shower and letting the hot water crash down on his shoulders, Chad wondered how the alpha in Peter’s video and he could possibly the same person.
He’d looked almost like an omega. Needy and bound, leather decorating his neck and trapping his hands, he’d moaned and arched into Peter’s touch no matter what the bigger alpha did to him.
Obscene. That was the only word he could use to describe it. The way Peter had tortured his hole, intentionally cruel and forceful as he fucked into it with his fingers and massive cock, was downright indecent.
How the hell had Chadenjoyedit?
It boggled the mind, but Chad had loved every second of the forceful domination—Peter’s harsh words and evil cock making him feel like he was floating.
The memory brought a smile to his lips. His hole was still sore, every move making it ache, but it was a familiar pain and Chad relished it.
But the video… that he hadn’t liked. It was fine to feel and act submissive in the heat of the moment—wonderful, even—but to watch it back later, Peter sitting next to him with one hand cupping his bulge and that burning look in his eyes, had been too much.
It might just be that Chad was uncomfortable with examining his own submissive tendencies too closely—the person in the video at odds with how he viewed himself—or maybe he just didn’t like the exhibitionism aspect of it.
Either way, he wasn’t going to be watching the video again.
When he was done showering Chad headed into the living room to have breakfast with Peter, after which Aiden showed up to start his second day of work. He was dressed in the same suit as the day before, though he’d ditched the tie and left his shirt open at the neck. He walked into the kitchen with a confident swagger, greeting Peter with a smile and Chad with a smirk.
“Morning Chad, how are you today?” he asked, sitting down next to Chad and across from Peter. He stole the last piece of bacon off Chad’s plate and ate it.
“Good, thanks,” Chad said, taking a sip of his coffee. “You?”
He was intensely uncomfortable. Aiden was sitting much too close, though not so close that Chad could complain without looking like an idiot. But Aiden was just sobig, and Chad couldn’t help but feel that all that strength and power would turn against him in a heartbeat if it weren’t for Peter having declared him off limits.
“I’m good,” Aiden said, leaning back and grinning. “Ready for duty.”
“You better be,” Peter said, though the warning was delivered with a smile.
Chad saw a barely there flicker of annoyance cross Aiden’s face, but before the expression could really register Aiden was back to smiling.
“So what’s on the agenda for today?” Aiden asked, turning his attention toward Chad. The way he tilted his head and smiled made it feel like he was just humoring him, but Chad ignored the feeling and took the question at face value.
“I have a morning hand to hand class, and then weapons training in the afternoon.” He checked his watch. “We should probably get going soon.”
“Hand to hand combat, huh? I used to teach that,” Aiden said, a thoughtful look on his face. Then he grinned. “Why don’t we just stay here and I could give you a private lesson?”
Chad’s stomach clenched with anxiety at just the thought of Aiden having him to himself for another lesson. The last time he’d had Aiden as his instructor the alpha had beaten the shit out of him. His feelings must have shown on his face because Aiden looked inordinately pleased with himself, the corner of lip pulling up in a cruel smirk.
“I think I’ll stick to the classes at the training center,” Chad said.
“Really? All right, I guess.” Aiden looked at Peter. “Who do you have running those these days?”
Peter had been busy looking at his phone, but he looked up at Aiden’s question.
“Merchant is in charge of everything that’s left of the mercenary division, including the training center. I think he’s having the guys on his team take turns teaching whenever they have time off.”
“Merchant, huh? Well, I guess he knows what he’s doing.”
Aiden couldn’t hide his distaste at the mention of the other alpha, and Chad felt a thrill of pleasure. Merchant, unlike Peter, had no problem putting Aiden in his place. The way he cut him to size was beautiful.
“He does,” Peter said. Then he frowned. “Though I heard you asked not to be put on his team the last time he contracted Topgrunder.” There was a note of reproach in his voice.
Chad scrunched up his brow, wondering what Peter was talking about. When had Tank Security hired Topgrunder?
Why would they need to?
“You know I don’t work well with him,” Aiden defended himself, but it sounded whiny even to Chad. Peter didn’t look impressed.
