I was gonna bring something on, alright. It was big, black, and gonna put some act right in her ass.

A Few Hours Later

One thing for sure, two things for certain, Big Frank never did anything without motive. I sat here twirling my gold, diamond encrusted wedding band thinking about shit. Sitting on my couch, with a blunt and a glass of whisky, got the wheels in my head turning. Something wasn’t adding up with this entire situation. Why Big Frank suggested I get married seemed outta order for him. At first, I thought he was being petty ‘cause I let him and Meko fight, but he wouldn't let shit go this far. There was a lot of other shit he could have done. Juniper was cool and all, but if I had to, I would have ended her life. I didn’t think we had to go that route ‘cause she didn’t strike me as the type to run her mouth. Another thing I peeped but hadn’t spoken on was a lie Big Frank told. Clive hadn’t paid shit towards freeing Juniper. When I got the chance, I was gonna ask Big Frank what was going on. I prayed it was no bullshit that would have me looking at my daddy funny.

“Mmm. Ya bitch in her room?” I looked up seeing Mixie standing in front of me in her skin tight blue jeans. Her smooth chocolate skin was on full display from her multi-colored bandeau top. She’d gotten her hair done in long black spiral curls that went past her ass. Mixie had her white toes on display in the heeled sandals she wore. She always looked good as fuck to me. A bitch could never say my bitch wasn’t the shit.

“What’s up? You look good as fuck.” I felt my dick getting hard thinking about bending her over this couch and turning her frown into a smile.

“You must not have heard me.” Mixie had a full blown attitude. “Is your bitch here? Y’all was coming back home today. Ain’t that what you texted me and said?” Mixie rolled her eyes plopping down on the couch next to me.

“No, but his wife is. Goofy ass girl.” Hearing Juniper’s voice, I turned around seeing her sauntering into the kitchen wearing some little bitty white shorts and a white baby tee with pink writing on it.

“See, you got me fucked up,” Mixie said, getting hype quickly getting up from the couch. Her heels crackled against the wooden floor.

Groaning, I downed the rest of my drink then hopped up, following behind Mixie. I wasn’t in the mood to deal with two catty females.

“Bitch, you gon’ respect me in my fucking house!” Mixie yelled at Juniper as she leaned against the island drinking a glass of juice. She looked at Mixie with an unbothered expression. “Or get the fuck out.”

“Is that supposed to be a threat? Bitch, I don’t want to be here. It was yo’ bright idea to move me in this bitch. You wanted me here. Deal with the shit.” Juniper shrugged, taking a sip of her juice.

Mixie looked back at me with wide eyes. Shit, I didn’t know what she wanted me to do. Mixie started with Juniper thinking she could punk her, but Juniper was far from a punk.

“Both of y’all chill the fuck out.” I was about to nip this fighting shit in the ass now. I’d be damned if I listened to this for years to come. “This shit ain’t ideal for none of us, but we gotta deal with this shit. All this fightin’ and pickin’ with each other, we not finna do this everyday.” I looked at both of them daring them to say some slick shit. “Mixie, Juniper knows you my bitch; ain’t no need to do all this territorial shit. It ain’t like that with Juniper and me.”

“You wanna fuck her though?” Mixie said, pointing her finger towards Juniper.

“Okay, what does that have to do with anything?” I was never the nigga that would lie. Me fucking Juniper was going to happen. It was inevitable.

Mixie was far from being stupid; she knew the types of bitches I fucked. Juniper fit the mold to the tee. She might have played crazy, but she knew I fucked other bitches. Her biggest thing was me not doing the shit in her face, and most times, I didn’t. With Juniper, things might have been different because she’d have to be around her knowing we were fucking, but I wouldn’t disrespect Mixie by fucking Juniper in our house or make her feel like she came second to Juniper.

Mixie turned towards me, sucking her teeth. “Don’t fuck her in my fucking house.”

“I’m not.” I sighed, mentally drained for the day. A nigga needed to relax.

“And you better use a fucking condom,” Mixie also demanded.

“Are y’all okay?” Juniper asked from across the kitchen counter. “I’m not fucking you.” She pointed at me. “And as long as you don’t speak to me, I won’t speak to you.” Then she turnedtowards Mixie, looking her right in the eyes. “Leave me outta all that other crazy shit y’all got going on.” Grabbing her glass of juice, Juniper headed right back to her room. I couldn’t stop my eyes from following her ass, watching it jiggle with every step she took.

With her hand, Mixie turned my head towards her. “Don’t play with me, Faheem. Just ‘cause I’m letting this shit slide with you and that bitch, don’t let this shit go to your head. I’ll fuck both of you up.”

I tried to focus on what she was saying, but I all I could think about was fucking Juniper. I was fucked…

Chapter 11

Juniper Weaver

May, 2020

One thing I liked about Faheem’s condo was the soft ass bed I got to sleep on. Baby, I got some of the best sleep of my life being able to roll all over this king-sized bed. It was Friday, a few days after my little episode with Mixie in the kitchen. For the most part, I kept my distance from her. It wasn’t hard because Mixie was in and out, the same with Faheem. I got the condo to myself the majority of the time. Faheem had a nice condo, aside from the decorations. Whoever tried to decorate this place needed their asses whooped. Nothing matched in any of the rooms. I got the vibe they were trying to be too artistic without an artistic bone in their body. As soon as I got my first paycheck, my room was getting redecorated. I wasn’t finna keep sleeping in a room that looked like a rainbow of throw up. Five different colors in one room was too much, none of them went together either. This shit looked a hot mess in here. From Mixie’s choice of clothing, it was clear she was the one whodecorated this place. I don’t see how Faheem dealt with this mess of decorating. Whatever floated his boat was fine with me.

A knock on my door had me on high alert. I didn’t trust Mixie as far as I could throw her. I didn’t put anything past her. I got off my bed, tying my pink, floor length robe together, covering the short night gown I was wearing. I had no plans of doing anything today. Faheem claimed he was going to go get my car from the parking garage, if it was even still there, the day we got married. He had yet to bring it to me, so doing anything was out of the question. I hoped he would bring it before Monday because I started back working. Faheem thought I was stupid, but I was far from it.

My boss, Angelo, could be a mean ass nigga. Himandhis brother. I watched him fire a girl because she had to leave work early to go to the hospital with her daughter that was in a severe accident. If you weren’t fucking someone in the family, they didn’t give a fuck about you. Only reason Jamie got away with murder ‘cause she was fucking Ramerio, which was Angelo’s oldest son. That’s why I was caught off guard when he offered to pay me the salary he paid me. The fact that Faheem was able to get me my job back with no questions asked meant they had some kind of connection with each other. I wasn’t gonna say anything. I was too happy to have my job back. It would help keep me busy and from killing Mixie in her sleep.

Honestly, I wasn’t even stuntin’ her like that. She was unhappy with her nigga but wanted to take it out on me. I felt bad for Mixie; she gave Faheem too much leeway. The nigga knew he could do whatever he wanted, and he acted like it too. He was far too comfortable with telling his girlfriend he was marrying someone else. Call it loyalty, I called it stupidity. How casually he talked about fucking me with her was some weird shit that had me looking at both of them sideways. What it boileddown to was Mixie didn’t respect Mixie, so neither did Faheem. That wasn’t my business though.
