“Can I have grapes too, please?” Willow asked, looking to her dad for permission. I lifted my gaze, waiting for his consent before grabbing another bowl for the little girl. “Thank you, Jayden.”
“You’re welcome, sweetheart,” I said as Chase took the fruit to the table. “You have very good manners. Your dad must be very proud of you.”
“He is.” The girl preened, and all of the adults busted out laughing. She scowled, oblivious to why that was so funny. Leave it to the toddler to break the tension.
Chase’s cheeks flushed when I handed his plate to him. He swallowed hard as he glanced toward the table to see if everyone was watching him. “It’s fine. Mom knows, William knows, and I’d be willing to bet Corey is jealous as fuck right now, if anything.”
“Why?” Did Chase really not see the way Corey looked at him? Now that I knew he was dating my uncle, some of this off-handed comments when we’d seen him at the store today made sense. He got visibly upset when Chase started pulling into his shell, like he felt Chase’s pain.
“Watch how William is taking care of Corey. I’m pretty sure they have a relationship similar to ours.” I wasn’t sure if Corey was little or not, but he radiated ‘Daddy’s boy’ vibes. “But with his daughter here, he’s probably trying even harder than you are to be big.”
“That would have to be hard,” Chase observed.
Conversation was stilted at dinner. With my mom and a kid at the table, the rest of us were carefully dancing around anything that could be viewed as a taboo topic. Corey was a good father, but it was William who surprised me by jumping up from the table when she asked for a little bit more milk. Corey rolled his eyes when William grabbed the chocolate milk Mom kept in the house for Chase but smiled broadly when William pulled three cups out of the cupboard. “Jayden, could you help me for a second?”
I cocked my head to the side as I pushed back from the table. It was a feeble attempt at pretending he had a valid reason for calling me to the other side of the room so we could talk, but I didn’t question him.
“Grab the cake your mom made for dessert and some plates,” he instructed. When I was next to him, he kept his voice low enough no one at the table could hear us. “Let Chase know it’s okay to relax. Neither of us would say anything, even if Willow wasn’t here. Corey’s upset because he can tell Chase is on edge. Both of those boys need to calm their shit.”
“Yeah, well it was a shock to him,” I explained. “We saw him earlier at his other job. Seeing him here threw Chase for a loop.”
“Oh, that reminds me…” William pulled a set of keys out of his pocket, gave Corey a kiss on the cheek, and disappeared through the sliding glass door. I grumbled as I handed Willow the cup of milk William had forgotten. I set the other two in front of Corey and Chase, seeing as they were the ones most likely to want chocolate milk with dinner.
William returned a couple of minutes later with a black shopping bag in his hand. He passed it to Corey, who stood and came around to stand behind Chase. “So, um, I might have recognized the two of you from that night at the bar when you came in. I’m sorry if I should have said something, but I figured you wouldn’t want me mentioning anything about where we’d met. I found this when I was unpacking the shipment and was going to have William get it to you.”
He handed the bag to Chase. I swear, when my boy opened the bag, tears formed along his bottom lashes. He beamed as he pulled a white box out of the bag. “You found it! Jay, look! He found the special edition Pika I wanted to get, and he brought it to me!”
Corey’s eyes grew wide when Chase very carefully set the figure down on the table and spun around to hug Corey’s waist. Willow giggled as she told William that Chase was silly. Mom beamed, managing to mask her shock as she realized we’d met before Chase and I walked into the kitchen.
I crouched down next to Chase. Like it or not, there was no way to keep him from sinking into little space when he was this excited. I picked up the box, turning it over in my hand. I’d never understood the allure of these things as anything other than dust collectors, but seeing Chase’s excitement made me want to find out which other ones he had his eye on. Now that I knew we had an in with someone who worked at the store that was notorious for snagging special editions, I’d exploit the fuck out of that.
“That’s awesome, buddy.” I ruffled his hair. “What do you say to Corey?”
“Thank you for my new Pika, Corey.” He hugged Corey again. “I love it! You didn’t have to grab it for me, but I’m really happy you knew who Da— Jay was and got this for me.”
I held my breath, waiting for the inevitable freak-out when he almost slipped and called me Daddy in front of everyone. It never came, but he was more guarded after that. I wound up telling Mom we’d come down for cake later, said goodnight to William and his crew, then herded my boy upstairs. Heneededhis little time before we headed to his folks’ after breakfast tomorrow.

“Buddy,it’s time to wake up.” Jay pressed his body against mine, reaching around to cup the front of my diaper. I pulled a pillow over my head, hoping he wouldn’t realize that I was already awake. I wasn’t sure I’d slept at all because my brain was racing all night with every worst-case scenario that might happen today. I wanted to believe that my family would welcome Jayden with open arms, but after almost slipping and calling him Daddy last night in front of his family, I couldn’t stop freaking out that I’d do it again.
My parents hadn’t been thrilled when I came out as gay, but as long as I didn’t rock the boat, my sexuality was just something everyone ignored. Today, they wouldn’t be able to pretend they didn’t know. But if they heard me calling him Daddy, or walked in when he tried giving me a few minutes to be Ash, they’d lose their minds.
“Come on, buddy. I know you’re not sleeping.” Jay slipped a hand past the elastic between my legs. My hips rocked forward, seeking his touch where I needed it. “Yeah, you’re needy this morning, aren’t you? Want me to make you feel good?”
“Please, Daddy. Need you in me.” I was still tender from last night’s slow round of lovemaking, but that didn’t lessen my need for him. Jay groaned as I pressed my butt against his erection. I couldn’t feel it through the thick padding, but I knew he was just as hard as I was.
I expected him to take off my diaper. Even if it was a thin line, there was usually a bit of demarcation between little time and sexy time. Until now. I closed my eyes and considered how I felt being little while he rubbed me.
I liked it. Maybe that made me a bit twisted, but there was something sinfully sweet about being Ash while I was this turned on. “When we get home, I’m going to tease you like this all day. I’m not going to let you out of your diaper, but I’m going to make you come in it until I think you’ve had enough. Because you want that, don’t you? You have to work hard to not get your diapers sticky because you’re worried what I’ll think.”
I both loved and hated that he knew me so well. He slid a finger lower, pressing against my taint as his palm massaged my balls.
“Get your binkie, Ash. You wouldn’t want to be loud and have someone hear you.” As I rooted around in the sheets for my pacifier, Daddy turned me onto my back and spread my legs wide. He teased along the elastic, pulling it back as he bent down. My hips arched off the bed when he licked the crease where my leg met my groin. His mouth was so close, yet too far away. He licked another stripe, this time closer to my dick, and I had to stuff the pacifier into my mouth and bite down to keep from crying out when he blew cool air over my damp skin.
When Jay stretched his body over mine to reach for the lube, I wrapped my arms and legs around him, capturing him. I arched my hips off the bed, grinding against him as I fisted my fingers into the back of his hair, pulling his mouth to mine. I spit out the binkie a split second before our lips crashed together. I tightened the hold of my legs around his waist, increasing the friction until Daddy grew desperate for me.
