"Hi honey, so first of all ...oh, hi Chris," she says and stops looking at Chris.

"Don't worry he's here for moral support."

“Okay,” she says looking at me. "Here, take this and go to the bathroom," she says, giving me a pregnancy test. Seeing me scared she smiles. "It's just the practice honey, nothing to worry about." I go to the bathroom and after a few minutes I get the courage to take the test.

I return to them and see them smile but they become serious as soon as they see me, moving away.

"Vanessa, I don't care if you two have an affair, I'm not here to criticize you,"

"I… sorry we wanted to tell you, and I just didn't find the right moment."

I shake my head and give her the test. She looks and smiles. "Get on the bed, darling." She says pointing to it. She does an ultrasound showing me the monitor. "Do you see this tiny dot?" my eyes fill with tears, it can't be. "I think you are about three weeks pregnant, maybe a little less."

I am fascinated by this novelty but also scared. I absolutely have to tell Matt, he has to know, at least we can decide together what to do.

"Angel, did you hear me?"

"Sorry, no, you were saying?"

“The first trimester is very fragile, you need a lot of rest, and limit your efforts. Does Matt know?"

"No, I called you first."

"Oh, he will be very happy."

"Do you really believe that?" I ask, cleaning myself from the gel.

“Of course, Angel. That boy loves you so much,” Chris says excitedly, "I'll become an uncle" he says, hugging me.

I laugh, bursting into tears.

Vanessa gives me a folder with lots of information and vitamins to take. We leave the studio, and my heart is beating madly. A baby.

"Call Luke, we'll go to New York," I tell Chris he nods and calls our pilot.

I call the office to let both Jake and Lily know that I will be out of office for today. I go home to get my bag with a couple of changes, and we go to the airport.

"Do you really think he'll be happy with it?" I asked him once we took off.

"I'm sure, Angel. We've known each other for ages, and I can tell you I've never seen you so happy. The way that boy looks at you with pure love, as he's venerating you otherwise, he’d deal with me.

I laugh but deep down I'm afraid. If he accepts this change, we will be a family, but if he made me choose between him and the baby, I would choose the baby, no matter how much I love him, I could never have an abortion.

I put my hand on my belly and close my eyes, I don't want to cry, I have to think positive. If we are lucky we will arrive for the middle or the end of the concert. How can I tell him?

Hey, love, you know soon we'll be three. Too trivial.

You know, Matt, I found out I was pregnant. Too direct.

Have you ever thought about the future? Of children, a dog? Maybe a goldfish and a snake.

I shake my head. I don't know how I'm going to tell him but it sure is something we need to talk about.

"Hey, Angel, wake up, we landed."

"Mmm, yes, I'm coming."

"Open your eyes, or I'll pick you up," Chris tells me as I open my eyes.
