“I’m so happy to hear that.Leni, if there is anything we can help you with, please don’t hesitate.”
“Thanks, Rayna.Everyone has been so supportive. It’s been an easy transition, especially with your visits at the start. And Brax has kept a lot of in depth notes to follow.”Leni beams into the screen.
“Wonderful.Sounds like everything is under control. Why did you call instead of text the info through?”
“We’ve had some issues with Geoff citing incorrect information in his social media posts. We’ve tried to ignore it and then bring facts to the press conferences and on socials, but nothing is stopping him.Would we be able to run some ideas through Mabel to quell this issue?”
“Argh. He is such a pest.I’ll shoot you through Mabel’s details and let her know what he's been up to before you reach out to her.I know we can’t completely stop him, however, if he is saying untrue things and it could be impacting our business, we might be able to do something more.”
“Thanks!”
I look at the door as a familiar knock taps against it.
Knowing it’s Koby, I call out, “Come in.”
His head pops in, and a grimace takes over his smile when he notices the video call going on my laptop.“Sorry!I can come back.”
Louie’s voice crackles through the speaker.“We’re all done, Kobs.”
I gesture a hand at the screen and Louie’s words.“You’ve already interrupted.Might as well come in and take a seat,” I tease.
Koby raises his empty hand in defeat as he comes and sits down on the chair that faces me near my desk.
“We’ll let you know any updates, Mum.”
“Thanks, you two.Chat soon.”
I leave the online meeting and turn to Koby.Who’s stifling a smirk.
“Did you take a ticket?Have you just line-cut to see me?”I joke.
“Sorry.I missed you and was lonely in my office.Thought I would pop in and work here with you,” he coyly replies.
“Well, you make it hard for me to be annoyed at you when you say cute stuff like that.”I laugh and lean over to meet him for a kiss.
“I still have some work to do, so you can work here too.”
“Sounds like a plan.”
He pries open his laptop and teeters it on his lap.
We manage about thirty minutes of silence before Koby sighs, dropping his head back, resting it on the wall in my office. His blue eyes meet the ceiling.
“You can go back to your office, you know?”
“No, it’s okay. It’s just this report.Boring.”He exaggerates out the last word, lifting his head and putting his laptop down on my desk beside him.
Inspiration hits, and a wicked thought I would never feel comfortable making floods my mind.I want to make him sigh again.Head firmly lulling back against the wall.Containing his moaning.
He looks over at me as I slink to my knees, maintaining our eye contact. It’s a short distance to the front of him, so I draw it out.Going slow.I kneel in front of him and can already see him hard under his jeans, and that pushes my confidence up.
I run my hands up his legs, gripping his quads before grasping for dear life onto the waistband.
He moves his hand to my chin.“What are you doing there?”
“Trying something out.”
“Try away.”He keeps his hand on my chin as I start to unzip his jeans.Rubbing his thumb across my lips.
