Morning, beautiful.Aria’s just left for a few hours.Breakfast is ready whenever you are.xo

My heart swells, and I stand a little taller at the message.I can’t wipe the smile from my face.

Descending the stairs, I’m greeted by the usual sight.Koby, in my kitchen.Making breakfast and coffee.

But now I’m able to do what I have been wishing I could do for the last few weeks.

He sees me and outstretches his arms, and I fall into them.Enjoy the strong embrace as his arms wrap tightly around me.Lifting my head, he dips his head down to brush his lips against mine.

“Good morning,” I purr.

“It certainly is.”

“How did you sleep?”

“Very well.You?”

“Solidly.Woke up very refreshed and relaxed.”

“I’m glad.”He kisses me again.“My impeccably timed breakfast is ready. As always.”

“Mmmm.I’m kinda enjoying this right now.”

Abruptly, he lifts me up and sets me on the edge of the kitchen island. The movement bumps a plate, and it shimmies on the counter.Threatening to spill its contents. The ceramic whirling sound reverberates through the kitchen. But I don’t care.Let it smash to the floor. My eyes are on Koby.

His eyes darken as his hands dig into my thighs.Pulling himself into the space between my legs.My hands gripping his broad shoulders, the angle positions our heads at the same height. One of his hands trails up from my thighs to my jaw, and he slams his mouth on mine.My greedy mouth opens, allowing his tongue to invade my mouth. His unrelenting hold on me, tantalising.Addictive as I soar higher into the heady feeling. If this is how he handles me now, I’m looking forward to being manhandled some more later.

Breaking away, he rests his forehead on mine.“Hope you enjoyed that too.”

“Absolutely.”

He lowers me down as easily as he placed me there, and I'm grateful I didn’t have to attempt to ungracefully slide down myself. But wow.I kind of swooned at him just hoisting me up and down.

He hands me a plate and a coffee mug and waves me over to the dining table.

I settle at the table, waiting for him to sit with me.

He brings his plate and mug to assume his regular seat opposite me, and we start eating.

“Didn’t lose anything?”

“Not a thing.”

“Wonderful.”

“I’m thinking of heading to the beach today.Aria had a catch up with a friend planned. If you wanted to come with?”

“Surfing?”

“Nah.Just want to hang with you.Maybe get you in the water again. No almost drowning this time, please.”

“I will do my best.”I remember.“Oh!I have to be back by two.I have the caterer coming around to finalise Christmas lunch.”

“We can do that.”

“Did you give Aria your keys?”

“Yeah, figured I would be glued to you when she wasn’t here.”He pops the last mouthful of food into his mouth and winks at me deviously.
