Hayes landed a solid punch but the guy just shook his head and laughed. That laugh was going to haunt us for the rest of our lives. I was still hanging on like a little kid but quickly found myself flying through the air. He’d tossed me aside as if I wasn’t a large man.

“What the fuck steroids are you on, man?!” I ran back at him and went flying again as he grabbed the back of my neck and shoved me away. I got a mouth full of grass and by the time I was back on my feet the big motherfucker was already there, smacking me in the face so hard that my vision blurred.

“Get him!” Elvis took my place on the man’s back but he didn’t hesitate to dig his fingers into the man’s eyes again or even up his nose. He yanked at anything he could get his hands on while the giant shouted and tried to slap his hands away. “Take his knees out!”

West dove for his knees and ended up just like me, clinging to the guy’s leg like a fucking toddler clinging to their dad. “This is fucking insane!”

Hayes wrapped himself around the guy’s other leg and it was finally enough to knock him down. We all jumped on top of him but he steamrolled us and got his hands wrapped around Elvis’s neck. Elvis was instantly struggling for his next breath and turning a deep red color. Fighting for Elvis’ life, we all jumped on top of the giant and fought as dirty as we could. Even after wegot him off of Elvis it was still a battle for survival. The man just kept coming.

He had me dangling in the air again when I heard a wild scream and felt the man stumble before dropping me. I looked up and saw Dolly Parton wrapped around the giant with her arms cutting off his oxygen.

“I don’t know who the fuck you think you are but dangling a grown man in the air is rude!”

The smile that stretched my mouth was ridiculous considering the pain radiating from the side of my face but I couldn’t help it.Cassidy.

Coming home on a high from winning a contest with Aunt Jolene was probably what had me jumping from the still moving car to leap onto the back of the man attacking Cash. I locked my arms around his throat and dodged the massive hands he reached for me with. I looked down and saw Cash grinning up at me like an idiot. I was torn between wanting to strangle him for smiling at me like he hadn’t broken my heart and wanting to strangle him for just laying there on the ground while I rode the jolly green giant.

“Don’t you dare grab my baby!” Aunt Jolene appeared in front of us, hiked up her tight dress, and drove her sequined boot into the giant’s dick. “Get on the ground, Jay Kong! If you hurt my niece I’ll make you regret the day you laid eyes on me!”

“Jay Kong? The professional wrestler?!” Elvis came out of nowhere to pull Aunt Jolene out of the way. “You’re dating a famous wrestler?!”

Aunt Jolene kissed Elvis even as she pulled a whip out of her purse. “You brought me flowers? That’s so sweet! Now, watch out. I’m going to whip this man into submission!”

“He’s a professional wrestler? Jesus. Next time we try to fight someone can we make sure they’re not a professional at fucking fighting?!” Hayes stood in front of Jay Kong with his hands out in front of him. “Just go down easy, big guy. You’ve got precious cargo on your back.”

Precious cargo? I scowled at him and shook my head. “Don’t call me that.”

“Can’t…breathe…”

“Get down from there, Cassidy!” West circled around Jay Kong with a black eye already forming and a scowl on his face.

“I’d love to, asshole! It’s not like I climbed up here to take a cute selfie!”

“Just lean out of my way, honey! I’m going to whip him!” Aunt Jolene waved her terrifying whip around in the air, accidentally hitting Elvis and West.

“Let…go…”

“Just slide down!” West growled up at me like he really thought I was just hanging out for fun and not trapped at the top of a man mountain.

“Why are you even here?! Why are you in my yard, getting your asses kicked by Thor?!” I hadn’t realized I’d been tightening my arms in anger until Jay Kong’s wheezing caught my attention but by then it was too late. He was going down fast. The man’s body slammed forward and took down both Hayes and West. I jumped away at the last second and would’ve eaten shit in the grass but Cash was there to catch me.

We both went down and by the time my back touched grass Cash had his arms wrapped around me and his face pressed into my neck. The feeling of his warm breath caressing my skin made me want to wrap myself around him and hang on for dear life.

He brushed his lips over my throat and lifted his head to look at me. “You okay?”

I swallowed past the lump in my throat and then shoved him off of me. “I’m fine.”

Aunt Jolene pulled me to my feet and straightened my wig. “The next time you jump out of my car while it’s still moving, I’m spanking you.”

Jay Kong rolled onto his back and off of West and Hayes. “You fuckers are all insane. I’m done.”

I frowned down at the giant man and crossed my arms. “Why were you attacking everyone?”

“I don’t let my women have other men sniffing up their skirts!” He pulled himself up and glared at Aunt Jolene. “You can have this little bitch. If that’s what you’re into, this would’ve never worked anyway. Sorry I don’t play dressup.”
