Titus nodded at her.“Yeah, it is and we got my uncle and his men here too.And when you get the two of them together, look out because they are real brothers when it comes to protecting their clubs. So just take it easy and tell them what you know.”

Nita looked at Hot Rod and said softly, “Maybe you should have left me in that damn trap.”

Hot Rod smiled faintly.“No, that would have left you out in the open, a target for your family to just shoot you.At least here with us, you stand a better chance. You told us you’ve watched and listened to them.So it’s possible that you could give us insights we didn’t have on our own.Anything might help us to win this war.”

Nita thought about it for a minute then nodded.“I guess I could do that.As long as nobody links me to them.We may share DNA but I am not a part of them and they are not part of me.Gabriel made that very clear when he snapped my mother’s neck and blamed her for something she never did.”

Titus walked inside the clubhouse first, followed by Ridge, Crank then Nita while Hot Rod brought up the rear.

Nita studied the line of angry looking men she was facing and when she reached the two older men both were standing there with their arms crossed over their chests. She tilted her head and stared at them for a moment.Yeah, they were the brothers she had been warned about.Titus said one of them was his own father and she could see the similarities.

“Who the hell is this?”Bouncer growled.

Hot Rod motioned at her and said, “This is Jep’s shadow on the screen. She was caught up in one of his sling traps.Says she came here to see the destruction of the Sanchez family with her own eyes.”

Nita raised her chin just a bit then she looked the two older men in the eyes and explained it, “My name is Nita Rivers.I’m not here on behalf of the Sanchez family but I’m here to witness their destruction. It’s been coming and needed for several reasons and I want to be there when it happens.”

“Why?”Bouncer asked back, “Why do you want to see it up close and personal like? That doesn’t make any sense unless you got a grudge against that family?”

Nita snorted.“A grudge?Yeah, you might call it that. You see, Gabriel Sanchez took one look at the woman who became my mother and decided she would fill his bed that night.”She shrugged.“Her opinion on the matter didn’t matter, he dragged her off and while she fought he did the deed anyway. She fought him the best any woman could and when she walked away she was bruised and bloody when he finally left.My aunt told me he came back three more times before he left her alone for what she thought was forever. But he came back five months later and found her with a belly full. That full belly was me.He just turned and walked away again. My aunt also informed me that he didn’t come back until the night I was born and that’s when he made his mistake. He filled out the birth certificate. He named me after his mother. He gave me her name and his last name.He put Bonita Sanchez on my birth certificate and the next morning my mother asked about the certificate and the nurse told her it was already filed.”

Then men in the room all listened quietly as she went on.

“She never went to court, never tried to change it, she just took me home and tried to live her life. Then five years later, the state went after him for being a dead-beat dad. That’s when Gabriel found her again. He hatefully wrapped his fingers around her throat and snapped it.He didn’t listen to her trying to tell him that she didn’t demand the support as she knew he wouldn’t pay it, but because he signed the certificate he let the state know he was my father. He wouldn’t listen to reason.Nooo, not Gabriel Sanchez, he just killed her with his bare hands and walked out.He didn’t even look for me.He never knew I saw what he did.My mother’s sister came next but that was hours later and she found me sitting next to mom’s body.I was holding her hand and telling her to wake up.I didn’t realize she would never open her eyes again.Aunt Mary took me home after we buried my mom.She raised me and when I got old enough and started asking questions she told me the truth about what happened. She showed me news articles about that family and I began watching and waiting and listening to everything I could hear.”

The room remained silent as some of the men looked enraged and some kept their faces

She stared at the floor then and went on to say, “When I heard that Gabriel got himself blown up by his own brother I felt nothing but relief. To me though, the worst part of that was that he never felt the bomb go off, he just evaporated. The only part I regret is that he didn’t feel it.So now I came here to watch the rest of his family get blasted.”

Finally, Arielle spoke up, “Everything she said is very possible.”

They all looked over at her.

She shrugged.“His father taught his kids to take what they wanted.Gabrielle was known for exactly what she said.He liked the fact that he was master over those women.Gave them no choice. He was special like that.”

Nita looked over at her then her eyes widened.“The girl.”

Arielle stared at her and asked, “The girl?”

Nodding, Nita explained, “I saw you lots of times over the last two years.I wondered who you were and I saw the expression on your face once.I was close to you and you never knew it.I was just a woman in the marketplace. But when I saw the rage in your eyes, I knew you had a grudge like I did.So, I decided just to leave you be.”

Arielle sighed and admitted, “Ricco killed my mother too.He didn’t know her, she just got in his way.I have been on the same quest as you.To see the end of this despicable family.”

Bouncer watched both women as the room went quiet again. He then looked over at Jep and gave him a short semblance of a nod.

Jep looked down and began clicking keys.

Nita scoffed as she shook her head. She seemed to catch on to what the nods were about.Grabbing the pack from her back, she opened it then brought out a file and a couple of journals.

She set them down on the table and pushed them toward Bouncer and Boomer.“This is what my aunt gave me when I left her house after I graduated. You’ll find my original birth certificate in there along with my legal name change and the letters she received from my mother after her time with Gabriel.Police reports and her death certificate are in there as well.”Then she pointed at the journals.“These are all my notes about the family I've observed over the years.I’ve got nothing to hide and some of that information you might find useful in dealing with that damn bunch of unholy idiots.”

“Why are you turning this stuff over without even trying to convince us?”Boomer asked.

Nita stared at him with tired eyes.“I’ve got nothing to hide.”She gave Ariele a nod.“Same as her.Just here for my cold slice of vengeance.I came here for one reason only...to watch the destruction of the Sanchez family.I also came here knowing I could be one of the casualties because every good intention leads to the road to hell. But I just want the pain to end.The only good I’ve ever had in my life was every once in a while my mom would look kindly at me, but mostly when she looked at me she saw him and she hated him.My aunt was reserved around me and I think even she blamed me for her death.”She shrugged.“I have nothing left to lose but if you guys can end them, that’s all good then and maybe I can finally breathe.”

Bouncer looked over at his brother and shook his head.

No one said a word but Nita could see the pity going around the room.
