I sat back and stared at her message in all caps.
April: The person makes all the difference, Ryan. My point is exactly that. Russell may not be accustomed to giving oral sex, but he loves you. And believe it or not,youare the one that would make all the difference for him. If he knew you wanted one, he’d do it for you.

It was partially the truth. I just remember them and they were terrible experiences when I was young and as I got older, I just shut myself off during them.
April: I think you’re running again, Ryan. You’re preventing yourself from being in that position again because you’re afraid it’ll be like all the other shitty experiences you’ve had with them.
Kim: Russell would probably be a very different experience.
